Does anyone have any idea at all as to where I might be able to get my hands on a pair of tickets for the Derby game? Me and the wife are in the area for a christening the next day, and I'd promised to take her to the game....but it's apparently sold out already :)

Try on redandwhitekop.com or onthekop.com.

What kind of markup are we going to be talking though? I've promised to take her, but I'm not going to go mental over it :)

I've never had to do it but I've saw tickets going for £150 for matches against top league opposition. Should be obviously cheaper for the Derby game.

Just as its so predictable you've all been slating him in the Man U thread! :)

I did no such thing, why don't you try reading the thread. I'm gutted that he's turned out to be a spineless little fuck: when he arrived I loved him. Hard as nails, just what we needed.

I was going to suggest RAWK but I don't know how it would look if someone signed up just to try and get tickets (unless the original poster already has a username there?).

I just signed up to On The Kop, but I have to admit it does look bad me registering just to ask for tickets.

I did read the thread just this morning and people were saying "well he ain't particularly good anyway". I wasn't actually saying you did though! Oh, and if you are directing me to read that thread try reading this thread before you comment on us being predictable about saying we didn't want him. Check back mate, hardly anyone IF any said "fuck me yes Heinze, he'll be amazing for us!"

What's he done to make himself a spineless little fuck? A turncoat, a traitor, a mercenary. Fair enough. But spineless? What am I missing? Surely it takes a degree of bravery to risk antagonising his club, the manager and the fans to try to force a move to their bitter rivals?

He should be fighting for his place, imo. Surely the best way to make SAF eat it would be to prove to him that he was wrong?

Agreed, but he should have fought for his place before demanded to be traded to Anfield :)

Presumably he did. Who knows why he decided it was all over for him at OT? I assume he's not caused all this on a whim. But you'd have a better idea of his character than I would.

It must be time to have a go at Rafa's line up again, I'm expecting to see the following:

--------------------Pepe

Finnan------Carra----Sami--------Riise

Pennant----Momo-----Xabi------Babel

-----------Torres-----Voronin

I wouldn't be surprised to see Arbeloa at RB, Yossi at RW, Agger at CB or Masch in the middle... actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that was completely wrong. :)

I've really been looking forward to this one, it's a chance to put that Chelsea nonsense behind us and to prove we have progressed from last year. These were the sort of games we'd be looking like shit in and scraping through, if at all.

This is an awful performance so far but kudos to Momo for actually getting a shot on target.

Yeah we have been dreadful! It is a good sign though that someone pops up with a great goal in times like this.

Torres is quite frustrating to watch already he seems to be able to do all the hard stuff and then mess up the easy stuff, although it was a great save from the goalkeeper for his header at the end of the half.

Torres doesn't dive much for someone that carries a reputation for doing so. Voronin has flitted in an out of the game. Alonso is sitting too deep. Momo still can't pass (but his goal was a cracking hit). Babel has had nothing to work with. Finnan and Arbeloa aren't getting forward. Agger looks like he's still playing for Denmark. Apart from that everythings great. ;)

I'll take three points by any means necessary to be fair.

A great win, should really have had 5. But we got the 3 points which is the most important thing.

Fingers cossed for Carra, got a bad feeling though, especially when he clearly mouthed "I'm fucked" and stopped Rafa subbing Babel.

Agree that MOM shoulbe their keeper, he looks very good indeed.

I wonder how long a broken rib will take to heal? I'm not sure about an Agger / Arbeloa centerback pairing.

Todays match would have ended as a draw with the 2006/2007 Liverpool side. We're a different team now with Torres and Voronin's guile and electric pace. Kuyt is obviously still going to play the majority of matches. Pennant played well today apart from a few glaring errors. Babel looks way better on the right than the left. Despite Sissoko's super goal he still can't pass and his decision making is still lacking. He's young and he'll learn.

I wonder where Crouch fits into our squad. He scored 18 goals last season and has his uses but he's just blatantly not as good as the three strikers ahead of him. Hopefully the big man will raise his game when his chances arrive. Benayoun must be wondering what the hell's going on as well. Lucas Leiva played for Brazil the other night and has yet to make a single Liverpool squad. Times really have changed at Anfield.
