Are you sure you weren't actually in an aquarium?

I’ve never walked out but the closest I came was during Brothers of the Head after one Siamese twin got it on with the girl who played Kate Spears in The Bill while the other listened to his headphones. I just sat there wondering how I ended up watching such drivel at 2 o’clock on a Tuesday afternoon. The moment passed and I stayed until the pointless, dull ending.

The record number of walkout I’ve seen was during The Magician, a pretty terrible Man Bites Dog rip off from Australia. By the end I was the only person left in the cinema.

Never walked out but fallen asleep most times. It has to be a bloody good film for me to not fall asleep, actually. Most movies I get to the hour mark before looking at my watch every 10mins.

I didn't actually walk out but half the rest of the audience did while watching the Japanese movie "Audition". To make matters worse, this was at the Cambridge Arts cinema by the way, I turned up with the only Japanese person, who proceeded to laugh, I kid you not, actually laugh through the whole "kiri, kiri, kiri, kiri" bit right at the end where the remaining audience was considering running for the door too.

I slept through part of Cliff hanger - and still to this day expect some children to turn up and sing half waythrough the movie. Apparently I dreamt this part.

The only movie I did walk out on was Sleeping tiger hidden bollocks or what ever it was. Right after that chap got an axe in the head. Totally toilet.

I almost walked out of Spider-Man 3. Actually fell asleep for 10 minutes of it. It was awful.

But in hindsight i'm thinking it may of been genius and I just missed the point.

So...no. The answer is no.

Other than Freddie Got Fingered, I will always give a film a complete watch before I pass judgement so will almost never leave / switch it off before the end. I have been tempted a number of times though, namely:

Eyes Wide Shut

Children Of Men

Clockwork Orange

Napoleon Dynamite

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker

Meet The Feebles

Lost In Translation

All of which came highly reccommended and I absolutely hated.

I'm fascinated by the idea that somewhere out there is a person who goes around actively recommending Moonwalker.

The problem is that multiplexes don't have bars. That film would have been unstoppable entertainment if I had been trolleyed off my tits.

2Fast2Furious.

God awful, but I still didn't leave untill around twenty minutes before the end.

I was only watching the movie because my zoned-out mate had brough tickets for it on a mad whim. We were just waiting to see the Matrix Reloaded for the eight billionth time.

I was only 11 at the time and my mate said it was "the bestest film ever!" and "he turns into a transformer and everything!" - it's not like I watched it last year or owt. Despite the fact I've not seen it in about 18 years, I still rank it as one of the worst films I've ever seen.

That was pretty dire. Practically the whole cinema groaned during that scene.

If Julia Roberts had been in the room I would have hung her in front of the whole audience. I believe they would all cheer.

I sat stunned for about five minutes thinking 'NO FUCKING WAY!?!?!?!'

Then told my friends I would see them in the pub.

You walked out of 2Fast2Furious, but you still managed to see the Matrix reloaded gazillions of times?

Do you have SM as a hobby?

Ocean's 12.

When Julia Roberts pretended to be Julia Roberts I could take no more...

I haven't seen that but if I understand correctly, she plays some unknown person and the gang see she, as this unknown, has a resemblence with the actress Roberts so they ask her to pretend to be her?

What a cunning plan

Baldrick/10

I can imagine the writer thinking how smart and ironic he was being. FUCK SAKE

Yup that's pretty much on.

The writer should have shot himself...with a minigun.

Come on, if you walk in pissed, 45 minutes after the film has started, Matrix Reloaded is a great movie.

I'm assuming that's what Smitty did.

I walked out of the musical version of The Producers.

It was my first time actually walking out of a film, and since then I've thought that going to the cinema really isn't all it's cracked up to be.

You ruined the magic for yourself. It'll never be the same again.

We should all take note - walking out of films kills you a little bit inside.

Never fuck with a classic, especially turning it into a musical

The stage version pisses all over the original film and I say that as someone who loves the original. Sadly they didn't get it right at all when trying to adapt the stage show back to film. It's still a good film, but nothing like as good as it should have been.
