Post Your UI!

Bartender is easy to set up.

It takes some time, but what mod doesn't? If a mod takes a little longer to set up, that just means it's more flexible and you're more likely to get it to do what you want to. I couldn't imagine using the default bars, simply because there are buttons I want that just don't need to be the same size as the main attack buttons.

Anyway, I need to redo my ui. Before my PC died I was pretty happy with it, but I am in wide screen now and I'm wondering how to use that kind of space. I could just move everything to one long bar along the bottom, but it seems like it might actually be better to put stuff at the sides and have my play area almost 4:3 but, 4:3 with nothing in it. Just bars at the bottom maybe. It's goign to take me ages and I think I'm going to give those eepanels a try.

could do with a little tidying up. I'm not keen on the buttons that aren't in the bottom section, but on the other hand i like knowing when they're ready without having to look away from the middle of the screen...

what is the mod for a circular healthbar like that? it looks brilliant, and since all I do is pvp, could well be very useful.

Its Pitbull unit frames, Squeenix (minimap), Bartender, eePanels, ElkBuffBars & Prat. The XP bar is there, just moved to the bottom and scaled down using Bartender.

Oh, and Quest-I-On for the quest list.

Edit: there's also fubar hidden at the top with a load of other stuff on it.

Actually tried this in a raid tonight, and I think I like it. I'm not sure if my buttons are too big, but it seems to be working quite nicely anyway, and I can't decide if the black bar at the top is helpful or not (it does push down the combat numbers so they don't get hidden behind the unit frames)

Yeah I think so. the reason it was like that, was if you shift the image down with viewport, the numbers that appear above mobs' heads don't go behind viewport (as it's a resize rather than a crop) and that was something that always used to happen before - the numbers would be behind my targets unit-frame.

That said, now i'm in Widescreen, the unit frames are coming a lot less into the centre and I could probably even shrink them.

I've always tried going for healthbars at the bottom, but I just can't get used to that, and don't know where to put them anyway.

Looks quite nice, that.

I've redone my UI yet again, since MiniChat is all kinds of awesome but would look weird with the gradient effect I had, and I had to upgrade to eePanels2 to use it with MiniChat so I lost all my panel settings anyway. Screenies to follow below.

My UI is still a work in progress, mostly due to my incompetence at setting things up, and the fact that having a clean UI and wanting everything easily accessible don't really go together. Anyway, this is a screenie showing how it looks at the moment, featuring the level 26 druid who followed me around Thousand Needles for about twenty minutes. The consensus was he was fapping himself silly over Suk's blood elf heinie

After a little fiddling I've messed with my ui and am happy with it. I thought I had too many buttons but having seen Pats one above I'm not scared to post mine now :)

The judgements and such in the bottom left are not normally switched on as I do spend most of my in game time now just doing dailies and raiding kara with the guild, not much soloing.
