I thought he was trotting out the "deliberately holding back supply" thing.

I kinda was, actually. Though with Nintendo you never know whether it's intentional, or whether it's just them being inept. Like in the case of the continual unavailability of new Wiimotes without Wii Play, for example.

That's a bit harsh. I think they have been caught by suprise by the popularity of, well...everything and despite producing shit loads cannot keep up.

Zavvi fulfilled my order today and it was here when i got home. I am obese which had already made my day....but my Mii now looks super dumpy and dead cute xxxxx

skiing is harder than it looks, like the step option....but keep playing hoopla hoop !!!!!

I like what I see so far.....just need to cancel my gym memberships now ......

Just picked a copy up from the 24hr Asda in Ellesmere Port. they had about 6 set aside for pre-orders. The chap brought a pallet of them from the back, each box seemed to have two wii fits in and there must have been about 15 boxes...

I was at Tescos 'the meadows' in Camberley (Awful place to shop) about 5mins past midnight last night and there was a que of 30 people already for it. They said they expected 100 units in and of the two pallets that I saw wheeled out of the warehous musta had at least 20 on each. The guy in fornt of me managed to get two the tesco guy said it was against the rules but as he had more than enough for thsoe queing he'd bend the rules to allow him (and the lady behind me) to buy two each. when I got served at 12:20 there must have been at least another 10 people queing behind me. Price was £64:71

...Nintendo design boss Shigeru Miyamoto had wanted to include a mode that would allow players to weigh their pets. He wasn't able to include it in the Japanese version, but in the North American version, available May 19th, players will receive a message informing them that if they weigh themselves while holding their pets, then weigh themselves again separately and subtract the two, the difference will tell them how much their pet weighs.

In the manual it says as a Wii Fit tip on how to weigh your pets by holding them then subtracting your weight from it.

The graph data in this is really good and even notices minute changes (less than a lb). Also things like the Wii Fit board asking you how much sleep you get and giving other interactive fitness tips makes me smile. Oh and being able to 'bank' time you've spent exercising outside of wii fit.
