Wii Fit + Wii Fit Plus

I just nipped down the shops and bought one for my Mrs. I was in the queue with 5 other people buying it. 4 of them were girls and the other was a kind of emo/goth/moose thing. I therefore assume that everybody else posting in this thread is either a girl or a moose.

Mine arrived this morning but I haven't used it yet...

Does the disc do any form of updates to the wii. I've got an NTSC wii console with wiikey and don't want it to brick my machine..

It does say in the manuel that it contains an update but mine didn't (probably because I had already updated with Mario Kart Wii)

I just went through every exercise in order from yoga to the balance games and it took 31 minutes of game time and an hour of real time. I was dripping with sweat but I've cooled down fairly quickly.

As expected I was pathetic at the press-ups and not too hot at the yoga tree pose.

Loving it though. It's really nicely done :(

underweight, wii fit age of 23 (i'm 24). Not too bad. The missus who gave birth 5 weeks ago is wii fit age of 45 (she's 26) isn't too happy about that.

Already clocked up 30 mins of exercises on this. Far too much fun, the ski-ing and ski-jumping particularly so.

So has this sold out, just about everywhere?

Absolutely loads available in Hereford. Cheapest on the highstreet was £63 but I got mine with a £6 voucher from sainsburys for £59.

My Wii fit age is 29 (I'm 28) and my BMI is just under 30. I'm going to reduce that to 28 over the next month, honest.

It really made me realise how right side dominant I am. I found it very hard get my balance right.

What i don't get right is that you're supposed to always hold the remote in most cases? but doesn't that cause unbalance?

Also another question, any plans to do some online stuff with this? Would it even be a good idea?

But the wiimote weighs next to nothing. I cant imagine its gonna knock you off balance. You can probably calibrate the readings to take account for whether you hold it in your left or right hand I would think if the measurements are that sensitive.

Agreed, I don't think it would make a huge difference but it still feels odd.

The balance it address is at a skeletal level, rather than what you might be holding.

My Wii Age is the same as my real age (31), and my BM is an "ideal" 23.67, which I intend to get down to the "perfect" 22 over the next month. Did all the default Yoga - really good - as well as the press up one (ouch) and the mini games. Ski Jump is awesome.

I have to say that the interface and general level of polish puts other Nintendo games to shame. Where was the person who did the menu system for this when Mario Kart Wii was being done?

Anyway, hats off to Nintendo - another classic.

I've had the call!

BMI over 27 and just over a stone to lose for target weight.

No tears but I reckon I'll be getting salad tonight.

This is why I'm not tempted by it, I already know my BMI is about 26 at the moment and for my height I'm overweight. I'm not you see I just train a lot. BLoody bmi bobbins. Purchase cancelled.
