It was a very long generation wasn't it? If you take it as running from the launch of the Dreamcast to the launch of the 360. Longest generation ever? I think so.

I think the DC is the main offender. :)

Seriously, some people still think it's a "current-gen" machine today.

Another in no particular order.....

1: Rez (DC) - Got lost for hours playing this when it first came out, entrancing.

2: Call of Duty (PC) - I found this very atmospheric, and i still think COD is the best series of WW2 shooters.

3: GTA3 (PS2) - Revoloutionary, what more needs to be said that hasnt been said already.

4: God Of War 2 (PS2) - The best action game out there, really shows what the PS2 can do.

5: Final Fantasy X (PS2) - Better than 7 in my book. Everything about it just clicked with me.

6: Halo (Xbox) - One of the greatest FPS's out there.

7: Super Mario Advance 2 (GBA) - Bit of a cheat as its just Super Mario World. Greatest game ever and you can now take it to the toilet.

8: Panzer Dragoon Orta (Xbox) - Beautiful and fun, a fitting end to a great series, unless Sega wise up.

9: Eternal Darkness (GC) - Best game on the GC. The only game that i have played through 3 times to get the true ending.

10: Chronicles of Riddick (Xbox) - Brutal at times but with a great story, made great use of first person fighting as well.

It's even longer than that - if you keep counting until PS2 and GBA games stop being released then it's not even over yet (although that encroaches on this gen obviously).

You can't have the GBA in the same gen as the PS2! Its actually a games machine from two generations prior, but squashed into a tiny box.
