Who the fuck is this Petty cunt.

Tom Petty is amazingly popular in the US, but I'm not too certain why sometimes. He has some good songs, but really wasn't the best choice for the half time show. He was one of the Traveling Willburys along with some other famous musicians you may have heard of... I head Bon Jovi wanted to do the superbowl as part of the Lost Highway tour but were turned down. As for the match, meh, I've seen better bowls.

That was excellent.

I almost went to bed at half-time, but I'm very glad I stayed up. Semi-surprised that Manning was MVP, though: apart from one amazing throw (and the TDs), I though he was mainly notable for wasting the opportunities the defence kept giving him.

I guess it's a case of pulling it off at the right time, and all being forgiven, but it's not like he was on fire for the whole game. MVP should have been one of the NY tackles: stopping Brady getting any kind of rhythm together won the game for the Giants.

Agreed. The Giants defensive line sould have shared the award. Incredible how they kept up the pressure all game. They looked to be suffering on the Pats final touchdown drive. Manning earned his plaudits though. That play (the one with the receiver catching against his helmet) was the most amazing thing I've ever seen in a Superbowl.

Great game and halftime show. Both are normally such disappointments.

Amazingly exciting.

That I had a $50 bet on the Giants made it oh so much sweeter.

What odds?

Anyway - I fell asleep! Missed most of the 3rd and 4th quarters. I was woken up by screaming commentators or soemthing at about the time Manning made that most incredible of plays, so I saw the last three minutes or whatever it was.

What I saw I enjoyed anyway.

Yeah bitches!

The key 32-yard play was insane. How Manning kept it alive and got away that pass I will never know.

Stunning victory. Stunning

That was play of the season, i thought Manning was fucked big time then made the throw and Tyree came up with a huge catch inside 4 man coverage. Thats why i love NFL.

So Eli and Peyton must be the only siblings to win back-to-back rings and probably ever will be.

A fantastic Superbowl. Really enjoyed it - even though I only just finished watching it. Didn't stay up for the live coverage last night as I was in work at 7am and had an observation - but I did manage to avoid all talk of scores and the like.

That last quarter was aces - I really thought the Patriots were properly going to perfect the season, especially getting that TD with what, 3 minutes to go? Then the Giants just went and... well, you all know. Brilliant.

So, Wembley in October then?

I watched the game all evening and night and it was very exciting and fanstatic game. The giants defenders are wonderful. Tom "Karren" Brady was rattled :(

It is best superbowl ever :D

Now everyone will know how to beat New England Patroits.

What a horrible coach Bill, challenging for that 12th man on the pitch. Thank god he is not a premier league manager. I think God decided the patroits should lose for that call :)

Why shouldnt they have challeneged? It was perfectly legitimate and doesnt make him horrible at all, it was a huge down, man and they had to get it.
