Anyone watch the Giants game last night? T'was rubbish. Its all about Sunday though when the mighty Dolphins host the Jets.

The Jets can take their filthy traitor and fuck off.

I am required to say this or my Wisconsin fiancé will call off the wedding. I have no idea why.

Do we have an 08/09 thread?

Just finished watching the Cowboys play, good game. Comfortably past Browns, but the hour and 45 minutes the Browns gave Romo each play in the pocket was finally answered in the second half. They were pretty tepid going forward in either half though, and kicked a bizarre field goal towards the end when they really ought to have gone shit or bust.

My stuff finally arrives from the UK tomorrow, which includes my aeons old Aikman jersey \o/

The mighty J-E-T-S roll through the fins in their usual 'almost lose last minute' style. Pats lose Brady (apparently for the year now), its the good day to be a Jets fan - won't last though, never does last more than a week or 2. Lowery was awesome for us today and Revis held Ginn to practically nothing but Coleman in the Nickle got abused all day though and we finally looked like we could run the ball today. I wouldn't be surprise if Cassell throws for 400 yards against us next week, its the way of the Jets.

Chow, its all about the mighty Lufbra Aces, not the Falcons. I'm sure you will get it from all the ex Aces at the Longhorns though, so I will leave story (get it) time to them. I need to be nice to you, especially if there is a chance of getting a Wembly ticket.

Some quality games last week in the NFL. The final few minutes of the Broncos/Chargers game were immense, it was great to see a team go for the win with a 2pt conversion as well. About time someone had the balls to do it! I was gutted that they didn't show the Kurt Warner game on TV, it would have been great to see Warner acting like it was 2000 all over again.

Who else has got tickets to wembly next month?

I am. Although I may use one of my brother's tickets and just sell mine instead.

I'll flog a pair for £210, or single tickets for £120. The ticket value is £88 inc all the ticketmaster charges and whatnot.

The tickets are in block 133 (just behind the endzone), 40 rows back from the front. I'll make a thread in the trading folder later if there's any interest. I have 4 available, definitely looking to sell 2 of them.

I can't believe this Cardinals/Jets game isn't on TV! Kurt Warner had a crazy first half with 2 INT and 3 Fumbles, Brett Favre got 3 TDs in the 2nd Quarter. 34-0 to the Jets at half time.

It's the 3rd Quarter now, the Cards marched down the field off the kick off, Edge ran it in for 6 pts, PAT was good. The Jets ended up punting, Cards marched down the field again, Edge scored again, and then got the 2pt conversion. Onside kick... recovered... Once again Warner marches them down the field and this time Hightower runs it in, but the 2pt conversion just failed. 34-21 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd Quarter.

Amazing scenes!

I'll be working there... probably means I'll be pitchside the whole time you'd be meeting up but if I can get chance to nip out (perhaps I'll take up smoking or something) then I'll come say hello.

One of the guys on our team last year was working pitchside. He stole Shockey's gloves :angry:

woo woo thread bump! I was at the stadium all today, it's all starting to look very nice. I'm gonna be sat high up in the stand behind the TV commentators and team coaches rooms for the game, looks like. Not exactly the most exciting spot but I gotta have a proper view of it all going on.

Right: do I wear civvies, a home Shaun Alexander Seahawks jersey, an away Shaun Alexander Seahawks jersey or a yellow/blue throwback Brian Dawkins Eagles jersey? The decisions?

And I'll be around at the Tailgate I hope. Should be a fun, entertaining afternoon on Sunday. Even without Reggie.
