I've still got 2 tickets for sale as well. I've lowered the price to £60, don't mind taking a small hit on the ticket price as long as I can shift the tickets. If anybody wants them, send me a PM, we can meet up before the game.

Heh, whenever someone sings the national anthem like that, it always reminds me of Bleeding Gums Murphy in the Simpsons taking 30 minutes to sing Star Spangled Banner. Which, obviously, was a pisstake of these type of interpretations.

yeah me too, why are the quarterbacks always white?

This is quite fun. I used to watch it a bit when it was on CH4 on a Saturday afternoon. Then it went to CH5 in the middle of the night so I stopped.

Is this gonna be a regular thing on the Beeb?

Think they only show the London game and Superbowl. Five have the live game Sunday and Monday night, and Sky show the same in HD and 4 more each week

Just got back from Wembley Stadium. That really was an amazing NFL game.

Both teams gave it their all and the Chargers came so close to scoring in that last couple of seconds.

They were unlucky in some respects with two of their touchdowns and an interception being denied to them.

The atmosphere the fans created was awesome too.

Really enjoyed that. I'm sure showing one of the early kick-offs shown at that time regularly on free TV would pull in decent numbers

The numbers would not be as good as they stuff they already show at that time. And a three-hour slot is a huge commitment.

For those of you without Sky I'd advise recording all of five's games (two a week as of next week) and watch them 'as live' the next day, avoiding the scores.

If yuo've not five then go to a site like Ten Yard Torrents.

AMAZING. That's all I have to say on yesterday's game. I think it was massively improved by my tickets being four rows from pitchside. Worth every damn penny.

I was secretly wanting the Chargers to burst from the flames and win, but there was an absolute dick of a Chargers fan in front of me and it was much more fun cheering on the Saints to annoy him. I got heckled on the tube by a vicar wearing a Dolphins jersey as I was wearing my Seahawks one (is that even a valid reason for heckling? He went 1-15!) and was amazed by the sheer number of NFL fans in Britain. However: I didn't see a Jags fan, a Chiefs fan, a Panthers fan and it wasn't until I was on the tube home that I saw a Lions fan, which was one of the ongoing jokes we had amongst my friends during the game. Saw at least eight other 'Hawks...which was about seven more than I expected.

But anyway: AMAZING. Just amazing. Joss Stone was fucking gash though, and we couldn't even hear the Stereophonics as we were sitting behind the stage thing and the speakers seemed to only be pointing in one direction.

Oh: WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT HALF TIME SHOW? David Bowie and Stevie Wonder heads? Freaky.

ooh i went to this and bumped into Ventress in a pub. It was wierd. I was at the bar gettigns served and Ventress comes and stands next to me. We look at each other for abotu 3 seconds and then I say "sorry, you look familiar", thinking that guy looks just like Ventress. "It's Rafaqat isn't it?" he says haha. It was freaky.

Getting out of Wembley was a farce. Missed the last train home, mean ing a train to Leeds this morning and having to pay for a ticket for £100. Been an expensive weekend.

Fucking excellent game though. Really wanted the Chargers to make that last catch. Can't believe the decisions that went against them.

A Panthers fan tagged along to the now-traditional UK Chicago Bears Fans' pre-Wembley meal in Maida Vale. So you can cross them off.

Highlights of my day:

Seeing Deuce in an Arsenal shirt. I'm not a Gunners fan, I just found it funny.

Telling Mike McKenzie I hated him as a Packer.

Shockey planning a 'party' with the Saints cheerleaders at the Landmark hotel. (He did the same with Dolphins cheerleaders last year.)

Realising how small Drew Brees is by NFL standards.

Going on the Wembley turf.

The game! Amazing!

Was so wierd when ventress turned up in the bar and then found out that we were like 20 rows difference, small word. The game and the atmosphere was great, soo much better than last year, Looking forward to next years game now! Few 'muk pictures to follow aswell.

I thought it was cute of Ms Stone to attempt an awful Americanised version of our anthem myself. And truly as terrible as that sounds!

As to the Stereophonics, they were only (badly) miming anyway, you didn't miss much.
