Yeah, smells like my own cum.

Some gorgeous photos in it

The Bears ditched cheerleaders near 25 years ago to save money! The team makes millions!

The idea of a cheerleading squad was thought up by Bears founder George Halas himself, who called them "dancing girls". Halas was quoted as saying that the Honey Bears would be around as long as he was alive. After his death in 1983, his heirs in the McCaskey family decided to end their relationship with the Honey Bears

I love the ESPN magazine but it arrives in the UK so late and so overpriced.

Are there any good NFL or US sports magazines available in WH Smiths? I havent looked for ages, Theres no Borders or anything in Aberdeen so WH is the only choice for more obscure magazines.

I went to two College football games a month or so ago.

93,000 screaming southern Americans. Mental scenes.

I am tempted to re-enact the experience of tailgating at Wembley in the car park. Chances of this happening? If low, things must be done to make it happen. Tickets still about yes?

So, a show of hands:

How many are going to Wembley on Sunday?

Any Bears fans want to meet up with the Chicago Bears UK Supporters Club in Maida Vale for pizza and beer in Maida Vale before the game?

I'm going Wembley, yes but with some mates. Quick question for you London boys, are there any decent places to go on the piss on the Sunday after the game? Also, is there anywhere decent to go around Wembley prior to the game? I went to Wembley a few months back and the surrounding area seemed like a bit of a shithole.

It is a hole, yes.

But the Green Man pub right outside is having a big NFL party the day of the game.

Every batch of tickets has sold in minutes, but touts/eBay are selling them. Pretty steep though.

There's no open car park at Wembley so no real tailgating. There is a tailgate-style party at Wembley Arena before the game but the free tickets were scarce and have gone.

From NFL UK

A surprise last opportunity has come up to purchase tickets for Sunday’s regular season game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants at Wembley Stadium on October 28th.

With just three days to go before kick-off of this historic event some tickets have come up following returns by the New York Giants players. For every NFL game standard policy is that players are given the right to buy a number of tickets each, and have until the Wednesday prior to the fixture to submit their requests. Now that the numbers of tickets needed to satisfy the Giants player requests are known we are able to free additional tickets to sell to fans.

These tickets available will be across a range of prices, and are the seats that would have been used by Giants players’ guests at Wembley.

In order to get your hands on these you must go to the Ticketmaster NFL Wembley page at 10am on Friday October 26th. [ http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/promo/icv9k3 ]Click here to get to the Ticketmaster page to make your purchase.

Because of the proximity of the game to the day you purchase the tickets, you will be required to pick up these tickets from the West Ticket office at Wembley, which is on the right of the Bobby Moore statue. If you come up Wembley Way and turn right, it is signed from there.

To get a head start in this public sale, ensure you have a Ticketmaster account already set-up. If you are an existing Ticketmaster account holder, please have your login &; password available. If you are not, please go to the following website now to save time and register for a Ticketmaster account: [ https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/member ]https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/member.

You can also get your hands on the final tickets available in the Club Wembley section by contacting Wembley direct on 0845 676 2007 and then select option 2. If you would like  to buy one of these and mark the momentous occasion of a regular season NFL game at Wembley Stadium with an incredible package, [ http://www.wembleystadium.com/events/major...hospitality.htm ]please click here to go to the Wembley website for more information.

I went to "Death Valley" the home of LSU Tigers. Saw them play Virginia Tec (Yes, the massacre college) and Middle Tennessee. At half time in the VT game the band did a song by Journey and marched around the pitch. I was off my head on whiskey and paid nothing for my tickets, the guys sat next to me and my group of mates paid $100 minimum a ticket off touts. Anyway, LSU dominated and I watched the cheer leaders. Safe.

But yes, 93,000 sell out for both games I think. Mental. Ninety-three thousand.

And you can't buy beer in the stadium. Pah. My LSU jersey is about somewhere...

They had some safe merch actually... The next game after I left was against South Carolina (who are known as the Gamecocks) and the slogan on the Tshirt was "BEAT THE COCKS". Sssooooooo should have bought that....

This London game is going to be a cracker, I reckon. Refs will let the game flow, and will definitely favor offense. We can't have the most important non-superbowl NFL game ever ending a 6-3 borefest, can we? Giants in a close, high scoring game.

Chargers first game back at QUALCOMM since the wildfires (still going on actually). Whole city and surroundings declared a disaster zone, air quality terrible, just yesterday the stadium was housing evacuees. Fuck off evacuaees, we're got a football game to prepare for. If they don't blow the texans out of the water there'll hell to pay. Chargers double digit victory.

Vince young to roll all over the sorry raiders. Forget Manning & Brady, Young is the best QB in the league.

Last prediction: Redskins to give the Pats some trouble. A victory might be a bit of a stretch, but the skins match up pretty well with them. Should be a fun game.

without trawling through the thread, how has this game ended up in the UK ?? The adverts I've seen through the game kinda infers a sponsered series ????

Oh and not quite that high scoring game - but get Dermot Olearly at half time. He knew his stuff and for some reason I was really surprised!!!!

Game ended up in London as part of the NFL's attempt to increase popularity outside of the US. There was a pre-season game in mexico last year. I bet it's fun to be there, but it looks like a bit of a letdown from over here. Lots of empty seats (the red blocks in the middle were about 10% full from when I started watching in the 2nd quarter). Will be interested to hear from folks who were at the game.

Oh and not quite that high scoring game

Yea, bit of a letdown. Rain, bad pitch, curious officiating and embarrassing dolphins so far. Maybe the last four minutes will be better...

Edit: Signs of life from the fins, 10 points down and they're driving with 3 minutes to go.

Taking a knee for the last 2 minutes should be banned i absolutley hate it almost as much as diving and general poofterism in football. I know why they do it but could they not just run the ball or something.

Also while i'm here moaning, flat screen passes are 99% fucking useless.
