There are loads of trails on the Beeb for this already. Looks like it should be fun - Peter Serafinowicz does deadpan like no other.

From that press office page:

The Peter Serafinowicz Show is written and produced by Peter and his brother, James Serafinowicz.

I've seen Peter in a lot of things, but I had to check his writing credits on IMDb. Apparently he co-wrote Look Around You, so this should be worth a watch.

Michael Caine is a very overused subject for impressions, though...

I'm looking forward to this. Serafinowicz put some really funny videos up on Youtube a while ago in the style of an Entertainment Now! programme with himself impersonating all the celebrities. They were really great, and it looks like this show might be an extension of those. I can't find those videos on Youtube now though, maybe they were taken down?

That'll be O! News - looks like it's part of this new show too.

A classic piece of O! News -

Some of his impressions are incredible, and it's all nicely surreal, but while it made my smile a few times I never actually laughed. I think Peter's a far better comedy actor than he is a writer.

Pretty much the impression I got. Bit of a let down, but not as much of a let down as Mitchell and Webb was.
