Was Jessica one of the

identical triplets

or just an older or younger sister?

That was my question!

Well, it was almost my question, I'm guessing she isn't one of the

identical triplets

; however, I'd always assumed she had been Niki's identical twin, and that was why the whole mirror thing had her looking identical, otherwise you'd have thought she'd have seen Jessica as she would have been in the mirror, kind of like Peter did

when in Jessie's body

.

Also,

why would someone of hotness like Daphne end up with Parkman

and

was their baby supposed to look like some kind of giant mutant baby? was that its special power or something? It was the size of my two year old, and she's taller than most toddlers her age

Molly used a super power to age the baby in her place. It's the only explanation for why the baby was so big but Molly hadn't aged in four years.

Well... I would've said that her other personality Jessica simply had the same name as her dead sister and wasn't trying to infer

that her dead sister was one of the triplets

Yeah, bit odd that. I'm confused about Sylar's power..... it's all good and everything, I get it yet

Mohinda has found the reason for the powers and it was some enzyme attaching itself to some other bit of the body, or something</vague>. It's the same mechanism but has different outcomes for different people

So Sylar is just seeing the same thing?

I guess he's seeing the affect rather than the cause, perhaps

. I don't need to spoiler the fact that Peter's a dick, do I? :) I dislike the character more with each passing episode.

And while I'm here

The Haitian has the best power, hmm? Even in the future vision there's nobody to counter his ability... although I suppose he is a bit vulnerable

I don't think so,

Mohinder said that his formula would just give a power depending on whoever you are, Sylar's power lets him figure out how specific powers work.

The show is trying to be action-filled, but its just so emo. When the show started I was looking forward to X-Men, the TV series. We're into the third season and its Dawson's Creek with flying and teleporting.

Maybe you should give up and start watching something like Smallville or even Hollyoaks then?

God I can't believe some of the negativity in here, it's not going to be The Wire or any other HBO drama with super powers, it's blockbuster fast food entertainment and it's great, like a big budget Buffy.

For the type of show it was Buffy had good writing and a good cast. This, for me, doesn't. It is a shame as I really enjoyed the middle section of Season 1 but from Season 2 onwards all the faults that were obviously there from the outset just seem to be magnified.

See, I've not really got a problem with any of the writing, apart from Mrs Petrelli's lazily revealed power "oh by the way.." I've not noticed any massive clangers. But then maybe seeing wizzes and bangs and people flying just makes my brain turn off.

i enjoyed episode 4, i know they dont have the thinking mans writing like 24 does ( watching season 1, drazen gives a phone to jack which palmer later on ends up using to talk to drazen, i turn round to my mate and say "if i was the baddy i would have planned this moment and rigged the phone to explode" 10 seconds later one exploding phone has been thrown out of the window) so you will get situations that leave you thinking why the fuck did they let that happen, but to me this is the type of show to turn your brain off and let the action flow like the comic book story it is.

anyway i would have loved to watch peter and gabriel go on a no holds barred use-every-power rampage against the others

Yes, Episode 4 was great!

It was strange seeing Gabriel/Sylar in a fairly normal situation in the future.

Makes you wonder what its like in the real world, when the actor walks into a shop to buy something.

" Oh shit! it's Sylar! "

Well he scores for Arsenal often enough and no one seems to bothered about him cheating there. Maybe its fear.

I think it's still the same but

Sylar had to make him think about learning to see how things worked hence why he was talking at him when Peter was working out how to fix the watch which he couldn't have known how to do before that meeting

I was thinking that he could figure out powers easier if he could see them but then I remembered Parkman's and Hiro's powers...*shrugs* Peter's just a retard who can't think I guess...

Weren't all those emotional/reactionary uses? He wasn't really aware that he had them until he used them.

It was only after the Chris Eccleston eps that he found out how to access them.

In fact he didn't even know Eccleston was invisible(and so was he) until Eccleston pinned him against the lamp post ranting about it.

Yeah, to start with he just thought he could only do the things when he was near the people, and he didn't know how to control the powers, they just kind of happened.

His first power, the dreams, happened without him even knowing whose power it was. I wonder if he has any other dormant powers that he has absorbed without knowing it - like from Charles Deveaux, I don't think we know what his power was; or his dad's power

seeing as he has his mum's

. I guess Simone may also have had a power, which even she didn't know about, as she was the child of a super.

Also, what's with old dead supers coming back and being seen by living supers? Charles Deveaux did it with Peter, and now Linderman is doing it with Nathan. Is it a thing they do in general, or related to Charles and Linderman's powers?
