Although noticing the price it now goes for online I might sell the bloody thing.

I did a bit of research on eBay last night, and I reckon that if my brother and I sold all our Transformers, Star Wars, and He Man toys, we'd be looking at a profit of several hundred pounds.

Including the Audi R8 (which looks pretty cool) and some other (the small versions of Jetfire and Prime, most of the others are ones I've never heard of though) but none of the really big name characters. Still, some of them look pretty cool. Most will probably barely be in the film though.

I'm presuming thats Ravage coming out of the water near the end. He's a bit too spiky looking, like that little gremlin thing from the first one, but that might just be because I liked the look of the orginal toy that fitted into Soundwave. Otherwise, looking good. I liked the first one so this & Star Trek are going to make for a (hopefully) good summer of movies ;)

Mrs Ivanho isn't as impressed :P

I remember getting really excited after seeing the trailer for the first film too so I'm not getting hyped again. Just upping the number of Transformers isn't going to mean a great deal if they aren't going to give them any character. There were enough Decepticons in the first film yet they wasted them entirely. Having 20+ of them in this could easily lead to more of the same.

I'd love to be proved wrong though.

Agreed after the trailer for the first one i was really looking foward to it but i found the film to be a mess. I love great fx but it's pointless when you cant see what the hell is going on. But that trailer does once again look good but im not holding my breath.

I never understand the complaint that you can't see what's going on in the first film. I thought they were some of the best effects I've ever seen. What is the problem?

I saw it at the cinema and it looked crazy in the actions scenes on big screen. the robots looked very blurry when moving fast and falling about the place. After watching it on dvd at christmas though it looked a lot better strangely.

Another corking looking film to look forward to.

No you can still find a few up on youtube, HERES ONE THAT WORKS. Looks fucking awesome, I loved the first one (I must have seen it at least 10 times already), I know many on here didnt like it but I found it one of the most fun films in quite a while and great for some brainless action. By the looks of the trailer this one is going to be a lot darker in tone, not sure if thats a good thing as the light humour was just right in the first one but it will be interesting to see where Bay goes in this one. I hope the designs are better in this one though as that was my major complaint with the first one, Starscream still looks shit although Ratchet (if that is him in the trailer) looks pretty fucking cool although those 'twins' designs that were leaked a few days ago were a bit shit so we will have to wait and see. This is probably my most anticipated film of the year though along with Watchmen :lol:

And i notice at the end of the trailer that it will be showing at IMAX. :D

I'm there, day one.

The FX are just obscene. That shot of whatever deception exploding out of the building, running down the street and transforming into a black car - YES.
