That looks so cool in slow-mo. They should do the whole FILM in slow-mo. I never noticed that other Transformer jumping off the bridge and grabbing on to the front of that either.

How Golden Compass got the visual FX Oscar over the first film, I'll never know.

Probably because they did a better pitch.

This question is possibly even too geeky for this place but can somebody answer me this regarding the bridge scene:

if that is only one of the Constructicon's why does it only have one (possibly two) wheels? Each Constructicon is supposed to be a vehicle in their own right yet I can't work out what it would transform into and still be that size.

Can you imagine how big the fucker will be when/if they combined to make Devastator :D*

Wonder if they're even going to be able to CALL it Devastator when they went and wasted that name on the tank guy in the first film?

It'd be crap if they called it some random Smashotron thing. Maybe they just won't have anyone say a name for it and let anyone who knows who it's supposed to be secure in their nerdiness

I like the animation on that quick clip of Ravage, not so sure about his monster head though, I'd have preferred something sleeker myself. Although that'd be going against the designers' preferred 'spiky metal' buzz

A youtube vid showing him here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSG7NwfFG1c&feature=channel_page if there are 7, he's gotta be huge!

More Starscream, please. He wasn't enough of a devious little bastard in the first one, more of a cheeky imp.

I'm sure thats Starscream's face on the official website. All the TFs deserved more screen time. Now that the first film made so much money they must be able to afford to make the them the main characters of the film.

Well if the rumours that that potential in the next film (if they make it)

they have unicron in there

it would kind of fit due to his back story. That's all just speculation at the moment though as no one really knows how he'll fit in to this film. One of the producers apparently has said that

he'd like to try and include Unicron because he thinks that in terms of scale it would be amazing. I agree, but I think that it would be a nightmare to get right.

I would love to see it if they could though.

I think the 3rd film should be set on Cybertron, or better yet "on Unicron"

Much as I liked the first film, its huge glaring flaw as a giant robot movie was the stupid number of subplots. I think they've decided that the solution was to swap out each subplot for some gimmicky popular robot or an idea out of a hat involving robots and I think it's going to be a bit piecemeal. I mean, this is how it works in my head:

Soundwave will show up and use a Cylon to bring Megatron back to life but then Starscream's Decepticon army will appear and attack Optimus Prime and then Arcee saves him by surprise but then oh no there's ice cream trucks and they hail the Constructicons who are really working for The Fallen and then they turn into Devestator but a robotic dog appears and takes the Allspark.

And that's before we deal with the human subplots. What about Sam's life at college? It's either going to run to 437 minutes or each character's going to get eight seconds of screen time.
