I'm up for this if the new girl characters are any cop. I only play as the ladies.

I know one person who does that. He said he has no interest in 3D women and that he wouldn't play SFIV since it wasn't a real fighter like Arcana Heart. Also that creepy 'heartnana' rob who won the blazblue tourney at evo09 also only plays girls.

Saying that, watching the Ono interview Juri looks really fun to play, lots of flashy looking kicks and a couple of air combos can be made out if you watch the tv in the background.

Brilliant news. I am glad its a separate product, reminds me of the old days. All the haters, just don't buy it basically.

The only downer. No new stages/backgrounds?

And these...

* The game takes place one year after Street Fighter 4.

* Dudley was searching for his car in Third Strike, in this game he's searching for a rose.

* T. Hawk's storyline involves him protecting Juni or Juli.

Does anyone actually give a shit about this stuff?

Given the rrp is usually £49.99/$59.99 for full price games, I'm guessing this will be around £34.99/$39.99

See, didn't Street Fighter IV release in shops at £29.99?

I'm calling it at £25 but knowing they can get away with blaming the money crisis i'm more inclined to think £30

Yeah, RRP isn't always enforced to max price usually so £25 from supermarkets/online at launch isn't a stretch at all

The producer pretty much said that they've been listening to fans who want to "play in groups/together" in a video interview. They look to be happening

Gamespot caught up with Super Street Fighter 4's producer, Yoshinori Ono, and gathered a bunch of great information from him about the new title.

Here's a summary of what Ono had to say.

• Super Street Fighter 4 is tentatively set for a spring 2010 release.

• The update will be released on a disc, and won't be available as DLC (Downloadable Content) — but the game will be priced as an upgrade — not a brand new title.

• As this time, they're thinking of adding about 8 characters to the game. (Rumors currently have this pegged at 10 fighters total).

• Capcom is planning on adding more features to the online modes. Things so people can enjoy playing as a group. (Sounds like lobbies are in).

• There will be tweaks and balance changes, along with more online stuff and new features the developers are adding in.

• Bonus Stages aren't 100% confirmed, but it sounds very likely they'll be making it into Super Street Fighter 4.

• You won't need the original disc to play this update, but fans who have a copy of SF4 will be, "happy to have held on to it," as they'll be receiving something nifty.

• Juri is a Korean Tae Kwan Do fighter and is very important to the storyline.

• They skipped "Champion Edition" and "Turbo" and jumped straight to "Super" for the name of this upgrade because of the scale and size of what they're planning.

I need real, honest to goodness evidence, that lobbies (not 2 player lobbies) are in.

so what can this bonus whatever incentive thing be that they think will make people happy to own both versions? if it's akuma automatically being in a clown suit every time you fight him online then i'm there.

I hope it includes carry-over for character unlocks at the very least. More Seth bullshit is bullshit I can do without.
