Nah, not going to happen. No-one from SFIII has featured so far, and if anyone was going to, it'd probably be Yun, given the other games he's been in (Capcom Vs SNK 2, the handheld versions of SFA3).

That being said, Gen is totally out of the left-field; perhaps we shouldn't dismiss the likes of Ibuki/Makoto showing up quite yet.

Personally I want to see Makoto, Yang and Guy - but I don't expect any of them to show up.

Hmm. Whilst I wouldn't turn down any SFIII characters, I can't see someone like Necro getting in because Blanka and Dhalsim are in. Ditto for why I doubt Remy would feature, with Guile being in the game.

Whilst it isn't exactly a Remy/Guile scenario, Balrog has some things in common with Dudley, doesn't he? Capcom might include half a dozen shotos but I doubt they'd feature two boxers. For the record though, I'd like Dudley to be in it - if only because it'd set a precedent for SFIII characters to feature.

It remains to be seen who else they're going to include. I really want to see Ibuki, Makoto, Yun/Yang and Guy. I'd also like Sean, but with Dan present and with Abel having a running throw move, he'll never be in it. It'd be nice to have someone like Kyosuke from Rival Schools as a hidden character too, but that might be asking too much. I'm really surprised to see Gen; he does have some kind of storyline relevance (he's part of the whole Gouki/Gouken/Goutetsu thing) but I still wouldn't have guessed he'd be included.

I must admit to being more interested in this the closer it gets to being released. I still don't like the graphical style, though.

I absolutely love the graphical style. I'd love to see similar 2.5D updates to King of Fighters, Garou, Rage, Guilty Gear, etc.

So does Gen get two supers, with his two styles (3P or 3K) available? His juggling kick thing (623/F,D,DF+K,K,K...) was amazing.

I would imagine whilst keeping the general flavour of his playing style, Gen will be changed a lot. I'm told when played at relatively high level, he was broken in SFA3.

Sorry if I missed it, but do they plan to release a special Hori stick for it? Like they did with Soul Calibur?

I'm trying to get one to use with it now, seeing as though I own VF5 - but as I can't seem to find one for less than £50, I had considered waiting for an SFIV one. If I do this though I'm going to trade off VF5 as it's unplayable without it.

Supposedly, wait for it, MadCatz are making the official sf4 control pads and 2 types of arcade stick - A cheaper one, and a more expensive one with arcade quality parts (or so the people are speculating on Shoryuken forums) People have used the prototypes in America with mixed reviews. If they are any good (hoping for sanwa stick and buttons) and actually get released in UK il definitely get one because there is no good 360 arcade stick available without making your own :lol:

I haven't used one so i cant say so but i haven't heard/read good things about them, in terms of reliability and motions with the stick. Modding them seem to be difficult as well if you want to use a different stick and buttons. Someone from the 3rd strike thread probably knows more like Willei.

In other news, character data from a recent Arcadia feature has been translated for right thinking people. Check it yo!

Details:

#1 - System Info + Ryu, Ken & Chun Li.

#2 - Throw Tips + C.Viper, E. Honda & Blanka.

#3 - Balrog (Boxer), Sagat, Vega (Claw) & M. Bison (Dictator)

#5 - Rufus, El Fuerte & Gouki (Akuma).

If it's like any other "entry level" Hori stick, it will use "clone" parts rather then sanwa/seimitsu which will make quite difference (a decent sanwa joystick and 8 sanwa buttons is £25 or so without the cost of the pcb, manafacturing and shipping the rest of the joystick)

Not sure if I like the Seth character, he seems more like an MK\Tekken stlye character than Street Fighter. All the other SF charcters are normal human beings with special abilitles (minus Blanka) but this guy looks like some kind of robotic, weird science experiment with a silly ying\yang gut. I dunno why but his character doesn't seem to fit for my liking.
