Just over a week to go. This was probably the only aspect in which the PS2 port may have been better than the original. The opening bars are just spine-tingling, then when it kicks in you're grinning like JC Denton when he's wasting some NSF punk.

Don't blame me if this makes you re-install it.

I have just finished playing through the entire game I am not saying how I obatined it however I will say that having not downloaded any preview copy to devalue the ride and having studied the original Deus Ex games and System Shock over the Summer.

This is possibly the most enjoyable experience in a game I have has since Ocarina of Time.

As I am quite judgemental about certain games these days as well this is high praise.

I have enjoyed the tapestry of this game very much.

Now I have the graphic novels to read as a sweetner...and the bonus material.

Rating A+ 5G's 10/10 97%

The best game I have played in over a decade.

reading between the lines in here (and i only just started reading this thread today) i think i know the answer to this but anyway. i loved deus ex, played it on the ps2, extra stealthy mode for me. very much looking forward to the new one but i've never played the second. is it worth bothering with?

It is exactly why. On its own, I guess Invisible War isn't so bad; but when it's considered to be a sequel to Deus Ex ...

Even on its own IW is a pretty mediocre game.

Does anyone know when the embargo lifts for the reviews? I thought it was yesterday.

(I'm playing the review copy and I NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT.)

If you have a review copy surely you should know when the embargo is?

Ffffffffuuuuuuu I forgot this was out so soon. Ive just moved house. I have no Internet. I've bought it on Steam. Noooooooo :-(

can you not take the pc somewhere you can preload it? even a lappy can get the data which you can then tranfer to a desktop. I used my phone as a crappy 3g modem once to get a game activated.
