March? I haven't been told that. As far as I'm aware the majority of shipping will be done in January if everything goes to plan.

Ace! I was just trying to manage my own expectations given I didn't have much else to go on. Hopefully I'll have mine before my hols in Feb then.

I've been nipping back in to check on this every once in a while. Hang on... they're still at a concept art stage? Has a real-life genuine version ever been photographed? Has there ever been a handheld device that existed as concept art for so long without ever being real?

This is now sounding really dodgy. If Craig didn't have such a good rep I'd just assume it was a scam. But then, Bernard Madoff had a good rep...

Surely this would be the most incompetent least successful scam ever conceived?

I've been very interested in this for quite a while now but to be honest, the only one thing that is stopping me paying and making me think "they could make a tidy sum of money right now by just nipping off with it all", is the fact that I still haven't seen one video of a final product running and doing what it should do, showing off all the features and showing that the thing actually works properly.

Right, so as to demonstrate a bit of positivity/stupidity, I've just set-up a bank transfer and am currently waiting for the authorisation text before forwarding the money. This whole thing may end up being a very poorly planned confidence scam but I really don't think it is and I'd like them to be able to make a go of what they're trying to do.

I'm getting married in five weeks time so probably don't really have the money either. I've justified it by the fact that I still have the £207 credit sitting on my credit card from when I originally made the purchase. That and the fact my missus to be is spending £600 on a frock that'll only get worn for a day.

So, is there anyone here who has one on preorder but needs the cash or has got cold feet?

I will wait until there is something out there to actually buy. I'm still interested, but the amount of time it's taking to get released, I may as well keep the money in the bank accruing that fat interest for me (:)) instead of handing it over. It's probably the bank's faults but 6 months is just silly, really.
