Magic of the cup meant I got I got mine done almost as soon as the fixture came out.

One reason for the washout could be that it it is harder to arrange as done through this thread rather than through fixture notes on the site.

Some of League 1 and 2 are new to the whole online league/cup thing and may not know that cup games are arranged through the thread?

You can message someone through here (pms) and XBL through a simple link on the rllmukproevo site as well as the fixture notes though. It's a bit of a shame as the opportunity to play higher league opposition in a 1 off game is pretty cool.

Cmon Legendary! We can fit this in before Sunday. :blink:

I dunno, we've not had the problem before to this extent. In fact the 'outstanding cup matches' info on the site is quite recent too, so I don't think there has ever been as much info to hand :blink:

I would like the arrangements to be via the site at some point, but the effort in bringing it into line with the league and not breaking that at the same time is too much at the mo.

I'm not too fussed really, the cups are optional and I just kick out those that don't play in time. The only worry is that it devalues the competition when people get into the semi finals without playing a single match.

I agree - what will be even worse however will be Wallace knocking me out having already lost to me in round 1.

It is written - It is on the cards - It will happen and he is after me big time!!! (and not in a nice 'Valentines' sort of 'after me' way either :blink:

Of the 4 games to still be played

Digi will not be able to play Gambit as Gambit is not well and could be out for some time

Gus has done his best to get Legendary to play but got no joy

Wallace posted that he and Unleashed were due to play on Valentines night but no result posted so guessing that one (or both) of them got lucky and scored a date.

That just leaves Tobert and Goat Keeper with no posting to arrange ???

Lets see what occurs tomorrow - deadline day

Unleashed - My Xbox is off being fixed. They said 3 weeks max from 14th Feb so it'll be back 6th March latest.

Lets leave it until late and then if not back by 2nd and OK with you I'll go round to Manic Miner's and play you from there. (SaintM - OK with you?) I'll post an invite on here if back sooner but as we get closer to 2nd perhaps we can arrange for me to play from Manic's

Gus's Grasshoppers 0 - 0 Hoodedclaw

A tense tussle but I think I had the better of the chances. Hoodclaw likes the brutal approach to defending and some of my guys took knocks.

My wing play finally got the service to the strikers. Hoodclaw was doing the hatchet job again but I never suffered knocks to key guys. The game was pretty tense up to the end with chances for both sides.

Grasshoppers into the Semi's. :)

Athletic Madrid (Digimortal) 1 - 2 West Ham (Tomox)

This was a very even game. The deadlock was broken by a stunning freekick from Faubert. Digimortal fought back well and equalised through Aguero. The game was very even after the equaliser, with both teams having chances. The winning goal came in the 85th minute. The impressive Faubert burst down the right wing and swung in a ball for Henri Camara to head home. The scoreline was harsh on Athletico, who deserved at least a replay.

Cheers for the game Digi, hope you have more luck in your other games!

Been told that my Xbox will be delivered mid week so might be a better idea to arrange the game and then change if needed.

Whats your availability Thurs Fri and Sat? I am off work Thurs so could do any time Thurs (providing the thing is back of course!)

As mentioned previously if I do not have it back I could play the game from Manic's house to beat the deadline of Sunday

1/4 finals draw made. See website for details.

All played by 2nd march please!

Hopefully playing Paddyo on Wednesday 27th in our QF.

Still a 'league leader' clash, with Pads top of League 2 scoring 23 goals in 6 games. I've only scored 18 in 8 to get to the top of League 1. Gulp!

Console back (although not fixed so will have to go off again - Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!)

The thing is useable - just liable to crash in the first 10 mins of gameplay the first time I switch it on each day)

I can play -

Tues - 9-3 or 8pm onwards

Wed - 9-3

Thurs - 9-3 (although I have league game at 1pm) or 8pm onwards

Fri - 8pm onwards

Sat - 8pm onwards
