Sapa
Now Hank is aware that Mike was most likely deeply involved in Gus's operation Walt and Jessie are going to have to very careful being involved with him surely. The first thing I thought was that Mike was going to be the one to snitch on Walt to protect himself and also as hates him but that would probably be too boring a plot line for Breaking Bad. Interesting to see how the story with the huge German company is going to play out. I'm wondering if it's them that Walt is going to have to go up against for killing Gus. Rudi von Starnberg
Great episode as per. Running the full gamut from comedy to suspense to uncomfortable near-horror. But Mike's taken a half measure. No half measures, Mike, that was your rule! Lydia's clearly going to buckle the instant any pressure is put on her, and the corpses of Chao and Chris (or at least their disappearances, Mike being the fixer that he is) could cause trouble. Getting in business with Walt will cause trouble. He even knows this. He should have walked away. It's not going to end well for Mike
KRP
Excellent episode, a big improvement on last weeks I thought. It looked fantastic throughout as well.

Silent Runner
That was a near perfect episode. Jesse, Walt and Mike being awesome and minimal Skylar. I've gotta real bad feeling Mike just signed his own death warrant letting that girl live. It almost goes without saying how amazingly shot and lit this show is. mayor_mike_haggar
The end of that episode was so excellently chilling. The beginning was amazing. Mike was mike. Yesssssssssssssss

SpagMasterSwift
It's so good... I think the only way to get through this season is to be backing Hank. Walt is creeping me the fuck out! Mike was hardcore and the loveable softy all rolled into one.
descriptor
Amazing episode. Various drunken nonsense: Hoping 'The Mike' catches on. One bottle of beer and one Ensure. Actually, I had a half-thought that the drinks mean something, what with that woman and her 'hot lemon water', and the cops with the Whistlepig. Maybe? Also the best BB podcast, as well as the official amc cast with Gilligan etc, is Bald Move's effort, "Breaking Good". They cover the other main American tv shows as well, and the podcasts are generally excellent.
mayor_mike_haggar
Does anyone else like how Mike losing all his money and having to kill those guys is indirectly caused by Walt. As in, the laptop was encrypted and (if walt had thought about it for a while) probably designed to be extremely hard to break in to, gus being extremely cautious and all. In all probability the laptop would have been of no use to the police However the magnet did dislodge the picture, revealing the bank account details, which the police would never have otherwise found. I don't know if that was deliberate or not on the bahalf of the writers, but it's another example of walt's destructive influence.

Silent Runner
But, yo, magnet was Jesse's idea. Bitch. Which was 100 times better than Walts ‘lets build a massive bomb and blow the evidence warehouse up’ plan.
Popular Post Harsin
If only Walt had listened to Jessie's earlier ideas. We'd have a robot in the cast now.
mayor_mike_haggar
There already is a robot in the cast. It played a major role in the plot this week.

Tangent
Great episode. But who is Lydia supposed to be? Gus' wife? Was she in season 4? I can't remember her.
Harsin
She's a Madrigal executive that was in on Gus' operation. From Mike's conversation we can infer she helped supply the chemicals they needed.

Pob
Gus' wife? Was she in season 4? I can't remember her. I got the impression Gus was gay and his business partner from 20 years back was his lover.
Moz
Yeah, I had assumed that too. Edit: In the 408 episode of the Breaking Bad podcast, the show's creator Vince Gilligan was asked whether Max was Gus's lover. He said that "It's open to interpretation. It's whatever the audience wants it to be." Several of the people involved in the episode said that they thought of him as being in a romantic relationship with Max and Gilligan said "It's okay to infer that." Timmo
He says he does but there's no evidence and he's obviously a great liar, it's up in the air if he's gay.
