I'm glad it was one of Claire/Lee, and I think they both had good/bad qualities.

And interesting firing, I can see some people wont like it, but not on the Ruth-not-hired-mess level :)

Remember Kids the moral is - lying on your CV gets you a job. B)

Well I didn't expect that at the start of the series. Probably a good choice considering the competition though.

But we all know winning means pretty much fuck all, doesn't Alan usually stick them in a shed in the car park of his Brentwood office block and give them some shitty job in the hope they go away?

Claire will get a job as well, I am sure someone out there will take her in. Lee HAS been consistent from the beginning that its only fair he is the one who gets hired.

THATS WHAT AM TALKIN' BOUT!!!!!!

It was on BBC news that some Council (Essex?) has already said they'll offer the loser a job

After hating Claire I really warmed to her and felt fucking bad for her when that tear came out when she lost. It's like she was told she was a bitch at the start and really toned it down and even tried to help Lee through his breakdown with the presentation. Lee was a nice bloke too so decent either way.

I too felt quite sorry for Claire, but Lee has been very consistent as already mentioned. He's annoying as fuck - on a par and sometimes even more so than Claire in my books - but he did really impress me as the competition progressed and was probably the logical desicion in the end.

On another note, watching 'You're Fired' on Sky+ now, how annoying is Amanda Patell in the flesh, let alone in print!? She even make Helene look likeable.

Shock! Wasn't expecting that one. It's only been in the last 2 weeks that I've really warmed to Lee (or been manipulated into liking him by the TV people, at least.)

Thank goodness Claire David Brent didn't win, that's all I can say.

LEE MCQUEEEEEEEN! WORKING FOR SIR ALAAAAAN! *DOES REVERSE PTERODACTYL*

Fair play that Lee go it, he was more consistent and never resorted to giving up and finding a scapegoat when the tasks got tough, unlike all the other finalists.

Lucinda is very bitter though. Her outburst on the follow-up show was a little scary in a psychotic sense.

When Lee was told he won, he went really quiet and sort of looked down at the table for a bit. I hoped - and prayed - that he was gathering his strength for one final reverse pterodactyl of victory. The greatest, loudest, reverse pterodactyl the world had ever seen.

Worst bunch of finalists ever, but probably won by the least annoying out of the lot of them.

I love how this far in Alex still couldn't just admit it was the designer that came up with the idea, and Helene was completely useless. Third year in a row the gobby/fiesty/aggresive one doesn't get picked. I think as much as Sugar likes something about these folk when push comes to shove he doesn't want to have to work with them.

Lee deserves the win as he was the only one who tried to win, rather than get others to loose. I think Claires comment last night summed her up, "I hope the other team make a mess of it". She doesn't strive to show how good she is she just hopes others make a mess, or even tries to dig them a hole at times. Her entire attitude to work appears to be to look good by making others look bad, which must be a nightmare to work with.
