My ASDA just rejected me in the same way Tescos did. Bastards.

If I worked in a supermarket I'd blatanly be a maverick who played by his own rules, dishing out games before their release dates to the needy. I'd be a local hero.

Mainland. But it hasn't necessarily been posted even if your Gameplay order reads despatched / you've had an email.

Not wanting get anyone's hopes up, but they would say that wouldn't they. I think it's a case of you go to the counter, the sales assistant hasn't realized/been told they're not supposed to sell it and let you have. I got pretty close yesterday but the lady behind the counter was clued up. Fair play to her.

I just phoned up and the women I spoke to was also clued up on the matter "Grand Theft Auto? The new one? Yes, we're not selling that until a minute past midnight on Monday."

They have them in stock at my local now as well :)

See I got that question in the store, yesterday and it was when it all went wrong. 'The new one?'. Maybe we should be asking in a different way. Like for example - I could say this (you obviously wouldn't, Harry) - 'No, it's not the new one that's the Playstation one. I just want that one in green box down there, cheers.'

That's still a day early. Did you get her name? Go down there on Monday at 0001 and kick up a fuss about how you were told by xxxxx that it'd be out now

Confusion tactics. The person selling has no idea about games but knows they're not supposed to sell the 'new one'. If you 'slight of hand them' into thinking they're not selling the new one by coming across all informed like, then they just might do it.

We've phoned round a few and they all have the same scripted line about it being out tuesday. No fucker, apart from indies it seems.
