I managed to get hold of a guy at Tesco who actually knew what he was talking about. That store will definately be selling from midnight and as its pretty much in the middle of nowhere I'm sure I'll be the only one there give or take another couple of sad gits!

I reckon I'll be back home playing the thing by 12.20am at the latest!

I've got the notification that the order's been processed and my card charged, but not the shipping notice.

My pre-order went in some time before christmas, though.

Wonder if all the ASDA's will be selling it at 12:01am on Tuesday? We've got a huge one about 10 minutes from here...

I'm afraid the shop in question is a dodgy little outfit in Dubai run by really nice chaps who don't understand what a release date is.

I just ordered an Xbox, Forza 2, PGR4, Viva Pinata and of course GTA IV.

Haven't so much as picked up a joypad in four years, GTAIV is the game to get me back into gaming!

By the way, I bet I paid more for GTAIV than any of you, £53 for the standard edition, and I won't get it until a week after release B)

In those 4 years the Xbox has been replaced with the Xbox 360.

ShopTo are bound by contract to not send out any versions until Monday, so they just packed+processed everything over the weekend.

I'm just hoping i'm in the 99% that will get it on Tuesday. :D

How far do people want to travel & pay?

I just bought the 360 version for £40 from the Bescot Football Stadium market. Official, sealed, etc. They had both versions for £40 so if you're in the Walsall/Birmingham/Midlands area or want to travel a bit, they had them there. Not sure how many, I bought mine at about 11am and he had about five or six on display.

After reading impressions in the other thread I'm really hoping my spec ed comes from Gameplay tomorrow. Despatched 25/4 at around 16:00. Come on. Come on!

Let's do some collective COME ON! and perhaps all our copies will turn up tomorrow.

Hmm. Just got my email from gameplay.com saying the same thing, except 'Delivery method: Second Class', and '3-5 working days' expected delivery time.

It's going to arrive on Friday or something, isn't it?

Damn me and my instinctive refusal to pay for anything other than the cheapest delivery method!!!
