Well I was busy all day yesterday (took my daughter to the zoo) so I couldn't go hunting for a copy. Anyhow, I went out early this morning to Dagenham Sunday market (yes, I was that desperate to get it) in an attempt to find it. Anyway, on the 5th video game stall that I got to, they were selling it!!! But they only had the poxy PS3 version left, which I didn't want despite having a PS3 as well as a 360. So it looks like I'll still have to wait until the midnight launch at Game :)

Shopto have said that over the weekend they are doing half the pre-orders of the standard edition for both the 360 and ps3, and all the special editions of both formats, these people would have got the e-mail over the last 3 days ..the other half is going to be processed on Monday, when the rest will be e-mailed. I imagine you're in the monday selection of orders..

No, the last few orders Ive had from Gameplay havent turned up early. I received an email saying my WiiFit had been despatched last Saturday, it only turned up Friday afternoon.

Shopto are strange.

I put GTA4 into my basket back in March, didnt go through checkout or anything.

Over the weekend, I've had two payment failed emails from them regarding GTA (my card number has changed since then).

Must be a sign, may take up their offer of shipping me out a copy, just in case I cant find on in the shops on Tuesday (havent bothered to preorder!)

I honestly don't know if when I come home from work tomorrow and find I don't have this yet if I'm going to try and get a midnight launch one or wait until the postie comes at probably around 10 the next morning. I mean, that's 10 hours I could have been playing it, right?

Thanks also for this. I felt like a right tit when I clicked on the Live Chat tab on their site. Was expecting some dirty talk, but it only takes you through to a Shopto advisor. Bollocks!! :lol:

blockbuster are still taking preorders!

I was going to place one but they want £49.99 for the ps3 version :-o

I'm going to gamble with a midnight asda visit. They always have them for big stuff. Nothing fancy, usually an old lady with a security guard.

Lots of geeks as well of course :-p

Also tesco (in store) dont take pre orders do they? So id just be alright turning up and picking up a copy at midnight?

Had a look at the store display in my local Tesco earlier... priced up at £45 for the PS3 version.

Anyone know which, if any, stores will be opening in the centre of Cardiff (not midnght but 7.00am/8.00am) and may have walk up stock.

Game have told me they won't have any non pre-order stock available (which is a pain as I have a gift card to pay for it).

May go to Asda if they are doing a midnight launch, but I know I'll be on it for hours and not turn up for work.
