OK what the HELL is going on. Just got this email...

Which is lovely, except I didn't pre-order from Game! I'm sat at work hoping my Gameplay order has turned up at home. I don't have an account with game.co.uk, and trying the "lost password" thing on the Game website, it doesn't recognise the email address they sent that email to.

I'm confused :D

Isn't Gameplay owned by Game these days? Could just be a mix up down to that?

Glad I ended up procrastinating on the Gameplay preorder going by the luck some people are having, this'll fuck up their reputation a bit won't it?

I think they fucked up some Halo 3 orders too.

On a side note... The leaflet from the Royal Mail says wait 20hrs... Is there much point in me getting my brother to try and pick it up today?

Is the 20hrs just guideline or will they just refuse to hand it over before then?

Usually a guideline. I tend to go an hour or two after the card was left and my stuff is there.

Interesting, when I checked Play last weekend it said my copy had been sent on Friday. Just received an e-mail saying it has been shipped and the web site now says shipped today.

I hope its just their ordering system having a hiccup.

Got mine in Morrisons Sutton, seemed to have quite a few in and only 4 of us buying. At work now and only had 10 minute go, seems really dark though, think I might need to fiddle with my TV settings.

My Play order has arrived.

Play orders seem to take 3 days to arrive so I guess it was posted Friday or Saturday and not yesterday as per the e mail. Lying ***** :D

And no signature needed.

Didn't want to risk my Gameplay preorder not turning up this morning so popped out to pick a copy up from Currys first thing.

Gameplay order has turned up ok (1st class option) so before I return it to to Currys for a refund if anybody needs a copy in the Altrincham area give me a shout.
