Jesus, I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but in doing some research for the 32x thread I stumbled upon this:

Now, some of the videos are quite abrasive and aimed maybe more at an american sense of humour, but some really stand up, The Mega CD / 32x videos are quite funny and the Intellivision / Collecovision videos are really really funny, particularly the former:

I really think you should watch a few of them.

The whole 'the bubbles are coming need to find the... FUCK!' bit really had me in kinks.

Yeah, it started out a bit weak if you compare his older stuff to today's episodes, but at present they're nearly always brilliant. :o

Theres an interesting making of on the DVD where he explains why this is. Basically he just made the first 2 for a laugh to show his mates as they work for a site call Cinemamassacre. However they seemed to gain a bit of a cult following when he put them on Youtube so he started to experiment and make more. These days its practically all he does when it comes to filming.

AVGN is fantastic.

I too recently watched the dvd, and the "making of" feature. Was interesting to see he was into making films and just made a couple for shits and giggles.

Have watched most of them over the years, infact quite recently we have watched several episodes down a mates on a projector with a bunch of friends. The Mario 3 / The Wizard episode was scary as hell on it!!

He has a new episode out on the 14th.

The Mario 3 one is EPIC!

The whole Hell-theme is amazing. The end battle had me in tears. Jesus shooting and fucking shit up, yelling "FUCKER!! FUCKER!!" made me lol so hard I broke a lolmuscle!

Edit: Some of my favs from the top of my head:

The Bible games one

Ninja Turtles, both the games as the movie

Lethal Weapon

Edit 2: Behind the swearing he makes a lot of valid points why the game is shite. Good stuff.

for some reason the latest one doesnt appear in the 2009 videos till like 2 weeks later. not sure why...

the bugs one is definatly there, its like 17 mins long heh

Mm, I'm still watching these...tend to discuss them more on another forum though. He can be a bit hit-and-miss at times (especially in the more sketch-heavy episodes, and especially when Mike Matei's involved), but when he's on form he's very watchable. The last one I really liked was the Mario is Missing coverage; no real gimmicks, just loads of quality ranting.

I really love everything hes done so far, that recent one especially. Mario 3 / Hell had me crying with laughter.

Can't believe I didn't know out about this guy until now: he's a kind of Comic Book Guy nerd with a love for retro videogames. The sort of character Shawn Elliott might come up with.

Yeah, Keith Apicary's pretty good (if sometimes hard to make out) - he seems to be making more regular appearances on other ScrewAttack productions and so I've only recently found out about his stuff, and the Neo-Geo song is indeed brilliant. :rolleyes:
