SomeNaiveChump
V2 is reasonably popular too if you want to do a third torrent.
Elliott
V2 is reasonably popular too if you want to do a third torrent. I think for the sake of 10mb difference per album, 256CBR and V2 are completely superfluous if there's a V0 rip. Some tips for What. People there love FLAC, especially during a freeleech. The same 15-20 FLAC rips I've done have been mad busy all freeleech. People will happily download a FLAC version of an album you upload even if a V0 version is there and you have it. Always keep the cue and log files for FLACs. Also, the recommended artists tool is great for downloading but useful if you're uploading too. Without abusing the system you can attract a few more people towards your torrents by ensuring the artists that recorded the albums are linked to a few popular acts. I'm using my account to download Avril Lavigne albums. How angry does this make those of you without accounts? Uploading is a nightmare for me any time other than a freeleech so I'm very happy about this.
SomeNaiveChump
I think for the sake of 10mb difference per album, 256CBR and V2 are completely superfluous if there's a V0 rip. V2 is 25% smaller than V0 which can be as much as 30-40MB per album (or the difference between 750 or 1,000 albums on your portable). 256CBR is superfluous, yes, because it's a similar size to V0 and often of lower quality (because it's not necessarily LAME-encoded). Peter
For those of you still looking for an invite: if you're a member on another private tracker have a look at their forums. There often is a thread for people offering invites or exchanging invites. That's how I got mine just in time for free leech

futureshock
I noticed the 'max users' amount has increased from 60,000 to 100,000 in the last few days. With only 59,000 registered users might it mean there's going to be an open registration day soon?

ngchol
More making it too much of a target to be shut down. Does anyone really think it hasn't already been infiltrated and seeder IP addresses are being gathered? They're just waiting for the outcome of the Oink court case before they act. If the defendants get convicted and you've uploaded anything to what.cd, especially a pre-release, then....
Zomby
Well considering your average joe only uploads older stuff rather than pre-releases I dont think they're gonna hunt down every last one of the 61,224 current users do you
