Sony E3 Conference: Done & Dusted

Yeah I loved how we saw the actual developers and they were FINALLY able to talk about how the PS3 is the best machine to work for. I think in 6 months everyone will jump off the 360 ship. Devs are now starting to realize the 360 is sinking.

MAG is basically Counter-Strike + War-Hawk + Halo x World of Warcraft = THE big game of this generation. It's practically come out of nowhere too - just like many of the biggest games did.

One might almost call it "Planetside in a modern warfare setting."

I had the most jaw-dropping moment ever just near the end of the conference, when the overdose of tranquillisers I took to calm down after seeing that impossibly huge Resistance 2 boss kicked in and I began to lose all muscle control and then gushed saliva down my shirt before soiling myself in anticipation of collapsing into a coma and eventual death.

But then Massive Online Battleguns appeared OUT OF THE BLUE, rocked me out of unconsciousness with its Sheer Awesome Multiplayericity, and I was awake again: saved by the Power of the Cell. My eyes are open now, boy.

Thank you, Sony. You saved E3, and me too.

What do you mean it's come out of nowhere? We won't be seeing it for years. They haven't even shown it yet.

And it's a new IP!

But apparently people would rather snap some cycnical 'one liners' than actually get excited about anything. Glad I'm not them :(

Sinking into a big pool of ex-PS3 exclusives now being ported to the 360?

It probably could, but you would only see a bit of it at time and it would be all one colour... bright green or something. They'd have to leave out some of the stairs on 360 as well.

Man, people are having a right fucking laugh in this thread. It's amazing, I've not seen fanboyism like it for ages.

How do you beat it, anyway? It didn't even open its mouth that much. Except to gawp. AT MAG. GIANT ALIEN JAW DROP BABY.

Well if all 360 owners can get excited about these days is dated RPGs finally being released on the system then fair enough!

White Knight Chronicles for LIFE!

In all seriousness, the best thing Sony should do with the PS3 is partner up with Amstrad or someone, and get some cable tv tech inside the machine. Virgin Media could buy them up as some sort of cable tv/dvd/blu-ray hybrid set top box that will play the occasional game at a push, and everyone would be happy.

It was like watching those DVD extras on disc 2 where the actors tell you how great the film is... the film they were in, the film on the other disc... they were selling their games.

The 360 won't sink as it already has a rather good and established XBLA for developers along with games that are already out and don't rely upon FMV sequences that take up most of that Bluray space.

If I had no consoles, after watching those three, the 360 would win my pounds.

And Massive Action Game... they can't call it that!?
