Sony E3 Conference: Done & Dusted

Wasn't too keen on the PSP stuff before I watched it, but then they showed like three killer apps in a row. Even made american football look worthy of a buy - now that's impressive.

It's even got a Golf game on it. And with the 10:04 PM lightning strike of 1.21 jigawatts of infinite power that is the seemless intergration with PS3. You'll able to wait for movies to download, have the added pleasure of actually paying real money for them, and then watching them on the bog whilst taking a satisifying dump. Buy one. Only £199 dollars with some 'stuff'.

One thing I can't understand is how Sony can fill a conference of 90 minutes with amazing, shit-hot, jaw-dropping uber-titles and killer-info, and then right at the end unleash GOW3 and MAG.

MAG was totally off its face, I can't believe all those people in one game blowing stuff up. They must have had to link up about 250 PS3's with loads of people playing it to get that live gameplay footage. Incredible stuff. How did they keep that a secret?

What bollocks. Why can't they show in-game shit? I thought PS3 was fucking amazing, all this is showing is FMV yet again.

What do you think the PS3 is? You can't just throw everything at the SPEs and expect them to rip through it all, can you?

Seriously, are you for real?

Buying the delayed release of a game on another format is a huge win for everyone involved.

You are going to buy the delayed version too, won't you? :(

I reckon Massive Action Game is what it was originally (ironically, obviously - pisstake of japanese game titles for those who don't know) gonna be called, but then they realised everyone on the planet was gonna be calling it MAG and they just made that the official name. Sounds cool if you ask me. Part of me wishes they'd kept it Massive Action Game, but MAG sounds like it's a fucking magnum or something. Graphics were jaw-dropping if you consider that Killzone 2's pre-rendered trailer from the old E3 looks pretty much identical to Killzone 2 in-game.

The greatest hits idea is great. Also that they are going to GIVE AWAY 2 Greatest hits with all new 80 gig versions. Very clever.

I reckon that Sony guy is hoping the world will end in the next few years so he can say "Ah, fuck, we were just getting started, it was a ten year vision!"

What happened to the ozone layer? Did it get better?

Ten years ago at e3 Perfect dark and OOT were being shown, that's how long ten years is.
