The animatic is pretty nice, like a fantastical finding Nemo. I like the music too - custom or an existing track you've fitted around?

One thing I couldn't tell was what it is that makes her fall off the fish - looks like a set of teeth or streamers?

I like the colour choice in your last image too - looks like the whole thing should turn out nicely assuming the animation itself fits the bill. Are you planning to keep quite low detail for the background stuff? I think it works quite well actually, looks quite Mirror's Edgey.

The music in the animatic is temporary, Shoes is working on the soundtrack.

Towards the end she gets knocked off the fish/hat when it gets caught up in the streamers running between the buildings. Not sure how simple the final backgrounds are going to look, I can't spend a huge amount of time on them as there are a lot and they're all a bit abstract.

I actually think keeping a more simplistic style will suit the look of the animation anyway. like the image above. You could probably even do the whole thing without going into much detail in the main character except for her eyes I guess.
