Both GRID and DiRT 2 are superb games. GRID does an excellent job of putting you in the race, DiRT on, well, dirt. And both games were made just for me as they both know my name <_< DiRT 2 has an ace 'feel good' factor to it, too. The in game banter, mad fireworks and just insane driving make it well worth the cash especially if you can go that extra step with FFB. Motorstorm has that 'feel good' factor too (OK, Rushy?).

Haven't played Fuel mind. Maybe I should. I love Codies games and I think they get an unfair slab of negativity thrown at them for not so obvious reasons.

The freedom is great and it does have lots of "wow" moments but they can be hard to find after a while.

You can defo. get lost in it too, which is why it gets the thumbs up from me - if you think to something like Road Rash 4 or early NFS's where it was very UScentric (i love US based tracks providing they're not in US cities, which are generally crap).

Its has some bugs and poor design ideas but its basically on a par with Motorstorm - although Motorstorms handling and presentation are better. Again it has many wow moments.

Why Evolution didn't implement replays in the second game is beyond me.

You should also look at Pure too if you haven't already.

I'm not at liberty to say ;)

But I find that most features that don't make it into a game these days is due to the lack of time or technical restrictions. I'm sure there are many many more reasons too.... :omg:

Well, its sad. All your WRC series had some amazing replay cams.

I'll take time as the excuse (although you could patch it - or even sell it for 0.60p on PSStore). I'd buy it.

BTT....

Whats the best version of FUEL BTW - PS3, PC or 360?

Is the PS3 version 60fps?

Does Fuel have stunts in it? I'm a bit weary of games that have stunts and stuff, prefer 'pure' racing :omg: £20 on Steam... let's shop around!

You automatically do purely cosmetic stunts when you do a big jump. There's no buggering about remembering buttons presses so you get a boost when you land or anything like that.

I started it up yesterday on 360 and it did download a patch. I'm not sure what it was or when it was released, but between the last time I've played this and yesterday morning, a 360 patch has been released.
