If we can put a solid business case together I will pitch to come in and run it for them. :D

I don't think UFC would allow it, they are their main competitors in Asia I would imagine.

Co promotion for some events with rizin like Strikeforce did with Dream. Maybe even some Bellator cross promotion. Seemed to be a boon for both companies before the UFC took over. I'd also get more old fighters; Rizzo, shamrock, etc. Surprises me still how everyone but Scott Coker seems to realise these guys still gather a crowd.

Speaking of which, Matt Hughes is in talks Bellator apparently. I guess a country boy cant survive without fighting.

Cant survive without the 6 figure salary the Fertittas were paying him ;)

Looks like Rothwell and Bader (again) have been dropped from the rankings.

I never liked Ben Rothwell, but mostly because he had a habit of derailing fighters I do like. He's awkward and dangerous. A contender for HW champ in any other org, and a versatile finisher.

But I'll never forgive him for tapping Josh Barnett...

Rothwell had a USADA flag but he said it was medicinal, Bader I presume is off to Bellator.  It's strange you saying that about Josh, I like him but he's been caught cheating so many times.

Ha, that to. Especially since he never turned up.

Head of fighter relations too, and he's a dickhead.

Its a shame cos hes such a cool guy, having a warhammer 40k tattoo on your thigh is badass to me but he's a serial cheater and if it was anyone else id be much harsher on him.

I didnt know that was his job, i just read that it was an almost honorary job and only Forrest Griffin turned up and worked so thats why he was saved. I applied for a part-time fighter relations job, i never got it but i think it involved picking up fighters frim the airport, taking them to hotels etc which could have been coolbut probably pretty crap.

Belfort wants CM Punk for his last fight  at least he might win that.

The first death in the octagon.

Matt Hughes must be cash strapped to want to fight. Koscheck's a relic himself, lost his last six, and he buried hughes when they fought in 2011.

CM Punk has only lost one fight in the last three years, Vitor has lost four. During his MMA career no fighter has ever landed one significant strike on him when he is standing. For a stand up fighter like Vitor thats a nightmare. Book it Dana.

Matt Hughes wants to fight Royce again. Bloody hell that fight was a waste of time 11 years ago. I never liked Hughes tbh it would be funny if they gave him Rory.

I cant mind exactly it was either Rogan or on Bloody Elbow. The story goes that after the takeover they sacked lots of staff including Chuck and Hughes. Apparently Liddell, Hughes and Griffin were on the payroll for a good amount of money each, it was basically payback for building the company up which i understand. But Chuck and Matt never turned up, ever, whereas Forrest turned up 9 - 5 everyday at the office and worked away doing whatever he did and that was why he kept his job and the other two didnt.

Chuck and Matt would turn up at every event they were asked to goto in the states. They would do local press, fan meets and Q&A's to hype shows. You would always see them ringside. Forrest did all that and a day job for the UFC. Forrest would travel anywhere in the world to do that stuff too. I've seen him at two UFC Q&A's here and he was always great fun.

Would have loved to have seen Chuck have a few bouts at heavyweight before the decline.  I know everyone (dana all the time) goes on about the Tito finish but my fav chuck highlight was the overeem KO.

One of the hardest punches ever. He hit him on the forehead not even the chin or temple.

Yes, beat Overeem but couldn't get past Rampage to the final. It's down as a TKO but if you watch the fight chuck was exhausted. He couldn't do the 10 minute round.

The babalu kick KO was amazing too but I think the Overeem one (considering where he hit him) was some next level power punching. That's the hardest part of the skull, the fact he nearly finished him with that punch was always a woah moment for me.

Credit to Chuck for going over to Pride and competing. Can you imagine that happening these days?

It was a really cool thing to happen and a great gesture, especially with Dana cheering him on while he was fighting. Its pretty hard to imagine it now without some huge fuss or loads of bullshit happening beforehand.

As for the Overeem KO, Chuck absolutley blasts him in the forehead, i can only imagine what that must feel like and the more i watch that clip the more i think it is better than Babalus k.o. :P

Was that the GP Shogun won by beating Rampage? People forget Overeem was a 205er before becoming Ubereem.

Im not super psyched for tonights London card but that usually leads to awesome fights.it'll be great if Pickety can get a win as he retires ive been a fan since WEC when there was fuck all Brit fighters in the big stage. Nelson v Jouban could be a belter, hard to jot puck Nelson by sub though. As for the main event Anderson will possibley takedown Jimmy and pound him to a tko but Manuwa can beat him standing i think. Manuwa is decent enough but i was shocked that he's ranked #4, wtf?!

Joe Duffy looking good. Would've been good to see a finish, loads of variety, though, lots of volume.

If you watch the second round, he slips a right straight and almost gets a counter left hook in, in the exact same fashion McGregor did in his Cage Warrior win, right as Hardy and the other dude mention Conor McGregor.
