Anyone seen the UFC singapore card? Fucking joke. They're not winning Asian fans with that line up. One crushes them every time out here

They haven't even finalized the card they have announced what 4 fights.

Two of those fights include Arlovski and Gomi. Who I'm more interested in than 99% of the One roster.

Is this a Fight Pass only card like the last time they were there ? If so what were you expecting ? I doubt One crushes them at the gate either.

If this is a Fight Pass only Fight Night they are not gonna give you PPV fighters and mains.

They will draw a decent gate and sell out and be happy with that. ATM there is no local guys from Singapore who can draw so why mega push in Singapore. I'd be happy with seeing guys like Andre and Gomi on a UK Fight Pass only card tbh.

The Main and co-Main have not even been announced. Your getting Arlovski and Gomi already. Which is better than some shows here. Last time the UFC were in Singapore it was headlined by Saffiedine vs Lim which sold out 5000 tickets. You've already got a better show than that. Last One FC event in Singapore was headlined by Folayang vs Aoki and Gafurov vs Naratungalag FFS.

This is a non PPV\TV event that will be probably do a $400'000 type gate at best and they have to pay the top guys out of that.

Rampage has weighed in at 256lbs for his rematch with King Mo. It was agreed to be a catchweight a while ago - Mo weighed in at 212lbs.

God bless Scott Coker for having plenty of patience for freakshows.

I thought Mo won the first, but he's so gun-shy these days that I find it hard to get annoyed if a decision doesn't go his way. One of the wasted talents of his generation.

That's a really weird situation, I've read in several places over the last few weeks (Bellator official info included) saying it's a heavyweight fight, but then there was this weird exchange last week:

Bizarre. But in a weird way I want to see it more now.

Fair. I am jumping the gun a bit. If they drop super boy and the korean zombie as the main events I am all over it.

Doubtful, but one can hope.

I get you being underwhelmed with the Singapore card @Hellcock , but it just occurred to me that its probably better for stars with Gomi and Arlovski on the undercard than the recent London card and its headliners Manuwa/Anderson and Jouban/Nelson. Who knows who'll be fighting in Glasgow in July, JoJo and the other Scots guys and thats it probably

King Mo dry humping Rampage for 3 rounds was rough to watch.

I was surprised Rampage weighed in at 253lbs and still looked in shape, mind. He has 2 more fights left to sort with the UFC. Given the state of the heavyweight division I think he has a decent shot and picking up a win.

Assuming you like Brendan Schaub theres a good interview with Rampage on it where Quintin wants to open an old school arcade once he's finished fighting who'd a thunk it.

Yeah Rampage is awesome, I remember him streaming alot on Twitch GTAV and it was cool him responding to fans. I know he gets a bad rep but personally I like the guy alot, he just cracks me up.

He got alot of flack for the Rampage/Rashad TUF season. He came across like a bullying dickhead on that. Remember Darrill "Titties" Schoonover? that was a total disgrace from a coach. Theres that time he slapped Ariel for no reason. The dry humping female reporters that would have got him and the UFC in huge trouble if this was a different sport. The time he threw his toys out the pram at Rogan for no reason. Theres the videos of him making fun of mentally handicapped people. The crazy DUI where he hit about 10 cars.

Theres alot to have problems with tbh. I was a huge fan from Pride up until his TUF season with Rashad. I had disliked Evans before that but came out of it reversing my opinion of the two. Rampage just across like an arsehole throughout. This was around the time he got the A-Team gig and he seemed to think he was going to be next The Rock. His ego just went through the roof and he was being a dick to everyone. He seems more chilled nowadays but there was period of a couple of years where he seemed toxic. I've heard rumours that he was a cokehead at the time which might explain alot.

I thought Bellator was decent, unfortunately that was the way the main event was gonna go, Mo was both too quick for the barge-like Rampage to hit but also too small to do any real damage (as an aside, he looked tiny next to Bader!).

I'm curious to see how Rampage's return to UFC plays out, I can't see them giving him anyone top 5 but they probably don't want to make it too easy for him. Maybe Struve or someone like that.

I watched that season and I thought he was ok, they always play up to the cameras. That reporter thing was weird though youre right. Don't remember the Rogan thing, and I'd forgotten the DUI and A team stuff. I just loved that he came in, beat Chuck and seemed a laugh. But yeah he is a bit highly strung, I always think he's just funny with Ariel too, it's nice to see someone not sucking up to him (Ariel).
