True! A nagging thought has been his age coming into this fight, but I still think overall his experience is gonna go a long way. He's brought some good stuff to the LHW division, that dogfight with Jones, good fight with Gustafsson.

 

Calvillo's hot.

 

Weidman up! Hoping he does alright, crazy to think of the second Rockhold fight and how this division is sitting right now.

If the referee doesn't have the advantage of replay, as far as he's concerned the knees were illegal (they weren't but he didn't see that). For that to be overuled by the state commission is ridiculous.

 

Right result in the wrong way. Bizarre!

What a shitty way to go out. This second fight was like an exaggerated version of their first fight. Rumble got into clinches that exhausted him and then basically stopped fighting.

 

The thing I can't fathom was WHY he let himself get into those clinches?! He initiated them! Against DC! Wtf man, its like you wanted to lose.

He probably is, but he's a much bigger cock than DC will ever be.

 

But Cormier Jones 2 is the big fight UFC needs to kick-start the second half of the year. Hopefully Jones can quiet his demons long enough to have an extended run back in the UFC.
