You cant pay mousasi 50 + 50 or whatever he's on when you just sold the company for 4 billion and cancelled everyones sponsors. I still like Dana but he's a right nob when it comes to pay.

I will never understand why Dana is fine, despite being an egocentric, anti-fighter, self-promoter who puts the livelihoods of those who made him rich in jeopardy. Who publicly buries those he's supposed to 'promote' because his fragile ego can't take it.

But then everyone at TAM (and Weidman) is the devil because they're smug and wear stupid hats.

He got 600,000 dollars officially plus his 40 grand reebok, so I guess 120k.

Ok, i was wondering why bother if he's retiring but i guess thats a significant amount of money and if he's possibley entitled to it, its worth pursueing.

Yeah, not insignificant. Bit weird too because DC missing weight should mean non title bout. The NYSAC wont have the balls though, they'll just fine DC.

re: Dana, yeah he can be a dick but I enjoy his interviews and so on, he's a charismatic bloke.

It's got to be scant consolation. If they'd acknowledged DC missing weight, he'd have lost the title automatically, wouldn't he?

Basically only AJ would've been able to win the fight, and it might've been vacated if DC won.

Imagine if it'd been vacated, and they went for a tournament format with DC, Jones, Cirkunov and Manuwa? Maybe a couple of disgruntled MW wildcards. Oh man, that'd be fun.

This is some enormous under-carpet sweeping. There's being a dick, and then there's throwing people who've made you rich under the bus. Putting your own ability to get your face on tv ahead of hard-working fighters' ability to feed their families.

That's without mentioning his abhorrent personality/misogyny.

He's human garbage. Not 'a dick' sometimes.

Apparently Jacare is also a free agent after Sunday. The UFC MW division could conceivably be in tatters in a month's time.

Mousasi and Jacare gone. Possibly GSP as champ and a guy caught juicing as the number one contender.

It'd be like when Fedor was champ in pride and dana was going on about Tim Sylvia being the best heavyweight on the planet ha.

She's fighting a top 10 opponent after (officially) losing 3 on the bounce.

She's lucky that they've given her someone beatable, rather than a pink slip. Bethe might be the kind of fighter Holly could clown in the past, but she looks a lot more vulnerable these days.

I know the form guide but the truth is HH is a multiple time world boxing world champ and UFC belt holder, while Correira....well she's a brawling ex fitness instructor. The pedigrees arent in the same stratosphere.

No doubt it goes to UD

I want him to get one of his girlfriend and a speech bubble saying 'hit him hard monkey' or whatever it was she blurted out on Embedded before the Cruz fight.

Still better coaching than Edmond Tarverdyan to be fair.

Fair play to DJ. It's like he's playing a fighting game on easy and is trying out all the moves. I love a good armbar!

With dominant champions in other divisions you think it's only a matter of time before a new contender comes along and dethrones them. However with the smaller talent pool at this weight class he could conceivably keep doing this for years and years.
