I couldn't decide if I liked Paddy or disliked him. Definitely seems a bit of a loudmouth twat but got to admire someone rocking hair like that. Seems to be like Jay from The Inbetweeners cosplaying as Ken from Street Fighter.

I've worked with two guys who have trained with Paddy. Neither had a good word to say about him. He has a rep here in Liverpool as a massive dickhead.

On the other hand Molly is lovely from everyone I've heard from.

The whole card had a way better atmosphere than most US-based cards. Letting fighters celebrate with their coaches and friends creates memorable moments. Even the fighters seemed buzzing wanting to put on a show, not just get a win in whatever way.

After Aspinalls fight he was with Till and my God Till is huge, not surprised he almost died making 170lbs

Really depresses me when you see the amount of MMA fighters / personalities willing to stick up for Jorge. It was the same with Velasquez which I found incredible. I guess the answer is somewhere between 'America' and 'macho dickheads' but it's just proof once more that this sport is happy to wallow in the gutter.

Not to go all gossip column, but Paddy does appear to have a bit of a Ricky Hatton approach to weight management.

He’ll probably get away with a lack of discipline against non-ranked fighters but wouldn’t be surprised if he gets ironed out once he’s bumped up the bill.

Proper excited for this week's card. Three main fights are all very interesting.

Was just listening to Fight Disciples who've been championing Leon Edwards for Usman next, say that he need to get a poster or some official hype out before/during this weekend because if Khamzat smokes Burns, he'll probably leapfrog Edwards for the title shot. And I have to agree.

Aye, if Khamzat beats Burns clean there’s no way Dana doesn’t rush him into the title picture. At best for Edwards a possible eliminator but doubt that would turn heads enough to warrant happening.

Am I alone in really wanting Volkanovski to lose his belt? I don’t dislike the guy, probably just still bitter about the rematch with Max.

I like Volk but Korean Zombie becoming the first South Korean UFC champion after a long career and being a big underdog would be cool.

Dana has said Leon is next but then its Dana's word and doesn't mean much. If Khamzat can "smesh" Burns it would be huge. Burns is no joke.

Its pretty fucked up Leon Edwards has not had a title shot tbh. He is basically 10 wins in a row in a shark tank of a division, with wins over names like dos Anjos, Diaz, Cerrone etc. He has no luck.

Hopefully Edwards does get a shot, as like you say he has earned one. Dana now stating if he beats Burns Khamzat will face Covington. If there’s potential for Colby getting smeshed in the near future then imma here for it.

Fun Bellator card, at least controversy aside. Crappy ending to the Anderson/Nemkov fight and I'm not sure how I feel about the McKee/Pitbull decision. Immediate reaction was 'robbery' - maybe a bit harsh but such a clear UD didn't really seem to reflect the fight all.

Something always goes wrong for Bellator when they have a big card :(

There was weirdness in ufc last night where a fighter, who was dominating, landed an illegal knee but was still given the win as it was deemed "unintentional", seems wrong to me.

What? I have seen absolutely zero promotion for that. Never really watched PFL (although the rosters seem paper thin) so looking forward to giving it a go.

Me either, they kept it fucking quiet, it was fight Disciples I heard about it. Yesterday it was week 2, (FW/HW), bit of a different format but good fights are good fights the rest doesn't really matter, at least it's not just arbitrary opinions making the rankings.

Olivieira has missed weight by 0.5lbs, stripped of title. Fight goes ahead but only Gaethje can win belt.

EDIT: apparently the backroom scale said he made weight before heading out then the front room scale said he, and every other fighter was 0.5lb higher. Disgrace.

Me too, he's someone whose had up and downs but sorted it out and became great. If it was straight forward that he missed weight then that's one thing but it sounds like there's some massive fuck up.
