This multiplayer demo is very addictive, once you get the hang of the controls and get to know the levels a little. I love the Snipers/Pistoles and Pistols/Grenades modes. Shame the Matchmaking often takes forever to find you a game (at least, it did for me). Remember to back out of Matchmaking to visit the Store, which I initially assumed was the PlayStation Store so ignored - but actually it's where you spend the money you earn and where you can buy the boosters.

Having played it for 5 hours solid... I think this is going to be up there with COD4 and the Halos as a very good, addictive multiplayer arena mode. The climbing and cover elements definitely add something fresh to the deathmatch/objective experience. They've also borrowed some of the best ideas from many other recent games to provide a nicely polished experience.

Yep - switched on for a quick bash this morning at level 15 - ended up at level 23 before switching off. Very addictive stuff.

"What you'll probably see is more of the competitive type: more maps, more modes, stuff like that. The co-op stuff is hugely time-intensive and the size of it - the physical download size - is huge, so that's probably not an option.

I doubt that very much. It might get a deal of the week offer or similar but it will be back up to full price in the run up to Christmas and will probably hold it's price well afterwards too.

Does anyone fancy adding me to their friends list so we can get some games of this going? I had a look in the online folder but couldn't find anything. Anyway it's 'fobt1969'.

We’re just over a week since the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves demo became available to everyone with access to the PlayStation Network, and the numbers are staggering:

Total Number of games played – 1,217,424

Total Number of Kills – 92,110,787

Total Number of Treasures Captured – 1,860,645

Total Amount of Money Earned – $38,841,367,350

Total Time Played – 9,905 days (or 27+ years!)

The demo is currently #1 out of the top 5 demo first-week downloads to date, and is on a trajectory to become the most downloaded demo on PSN, ever.

I had my second session last night. Got my arse kicked completly in one game - myself and most people were around level 5, two guys on the other team were 30+ <_<

It got better after that, but i'm far from great. I'm assuming the stats won't carry over to the full thing? Although there aren't any real multiplayer trophys, so it won't really matter I guess.

I went on last night, more to just see what the game looks like than anything else. I was positively and utterly crap in the death match I joined for a little while :hmm:. I did go into a custom game of my own though, the snowy level, and that just looked completely beautiful. I think I'll have a bash at the co-op next time I go on-line - last night's experiences reminded me why I haven't really played deathmatch shooters on-line since Quake 3 and early days Counterstrike - everyone else can be bothered to try and get better :facepalm: .

Yeah, I think I'm at level 5. The guys on thirty plus do tend to kick arse but when you take them out it's well satisfying. I hope everyone doesn't fly up to level fifty in the week after launch leaving me trailing on level six with about three hours play time :hmm: . I mean, that will happen. It always does :D .

Oddly enough I tried it again last night after my initial first go last week pissed me off so much I nearly deleted it. Again I got utterly raped in my first game. Didnt help that everyone on my team left bar me so it was 3 against 1.

Next game though was Rocket Launcher only, I managed 9 kills that time and had a thoroughly good time.

I played the retail version today and the Xbox 360 is so dead. The first Uncharted was the best looking game ever made. Fact. But Uncharted 2 takes graphics to a whole new level. It really is quite amazing to look at.

The level of detail everywhere on everything is incredible. Can't wait to get my hands on this. Hurry up Wednesday!
