Play are selling it now? When exactly is this game out? Thought it was Wednesday but a Dutch shop site says 16th October? :S

Play always have games as in stock the monday before release. In my experience though they never post it until the Wednesday and you won't get the game before Friday, though next Monday is far more likely.

Fuck, I just noticed it says "English/Chinese version" on the box :) Hopefully it'll be ok online, that's all I care about

Shit I didn't notice that either. Someone please confirm that it's region free online, I bet any possible DLC may not work with it either. Shite :ph34r:

The free golden gun DLC that comes with the game is region locked, I know that much. I had to enter the code on my Asian account, because it wasn't working on my (default) US account.

Well by the time something like new maps or something is out (if I'm still even playing it in MP)- I'll just sell the asian version and buy a cheap pal one. As long as it lets me playing with everyone, then I'm happy

Getting grubby hands on new hardware is always so fucking brilliant :)

One piece of advice: add Gioteck Real Triggers to your shopping list, it makes the laughable playmobil-like triggers on the Dual Shock 3 somewhat decent. They're only a couple of euros, and mine have never left my DS3 since getting them.

Seconded. Makes the pad just about usable, though a long Burnout Paradise session on Saturday morning has left me with a crippled forearm. I actually superglued the triggers on, haha.

Well I've played up to Chapter 9 and it's been bloody amazing so far. Pacing is excellent throughout, with not a dull moment and some great set pieces. Not to mention arguably the best game introduction I've ever seen. :wub: And of course, it all looks bloody gorgeous and the voice acting is top notch.

Unfortunately, now I have to sleep for work tomorrow (it's almost 1am here). Dammit, I'm going to be dreaming about this game. :P

I went into GameStation at the weekend to find out how much they'll be selling it for, and the guy said it'll either be £40, £45 or £50.

Hmm, Shopto have just sent out an email saying that you can get next-day courier from them during the strike period for 1.99. That would take the price up to 39.98 which is what GAME are charging me for the Special Edition though, though that comes with the risk of not getting here til next week. Decisions, decisions.

Is it not November? You should be fine. Hopefully I'll be good for Thursday with my Shopto order too.

Well my copy was dispatched today so hopefully I get it tomorrow

I heard some interesting news from a friend: Trophies earned from Uncharted 1 will be rewarded with cash to spend on the multiplayer element in this! Can anyone confirm this?

You'd love that Mr Platinum :wub: That would be pretty cool
