I am going in completely dry to Ucharted2. Played the first and it was good, so I have no real idea what to expect with 2. Played a couple of multiplayer matches with the Beta the other week, but decided to save it for the full game.

For the first time as well, around da net I haven't read anyone moaning about the length either. No "It only took 4 hours to complete, what teh fuck pre-order cancelled" type posts. Weird.

My copy's just arrived from ebay, hopefully Uzi's copy turned up too. I hope this R3 version works online though.

Well I just checked. Worked fine right away in deathmatch- a few French speaking folk were playing and I doubt they all have the HK version. So seems ok!

This is utterly brilliant. Enjoying this so much more than the first time I played Uncharted- it's better paced, better presented, the story is better told. It's just dripping with polish and utter coolness. Uncharted 1 started like your typical action game, siege on the boat. This really ups the epic stakes and variety and puts you in a completely different set of situations. It's awesome

I thought Chapters 1 - 9 were amazing; today I've played up to Chapter 18 and it's been 100% AMAZONG. Especially Chapter 13. That whole level was pure OMFG :(

I just said this to Imp, but will say it to anyone else. The first two hours or so of Uncharted 2 has more locations, moments, variety, set pieces and OMG than pretty much ALL of Uncharted 1 for me. This doesn't just improve on Uncharted 1 in little ways, it far surpasses it from what I've seen.

Even the graphics, christ. It makes Uncharted look really dated in some places.

I haven't been following this at all so it's crept up well quick. Haven't even had a PS3, bought one last Saturday, so new slim all setup and ready for this.

Uncharted is probably my favourite PS3 exclusive so this is just gonna be... :(

And most games in general. It's the most blown away I've been by a game since MGS2. And the opening sequence is probably the most amazing opening scene I've seen in a game since MGS2. Literally jaw dropping, punctuated with squeals of delight. I've never squealed in delight at a game opening before.

If Uncharted 2 can maintain the pace and quality until the end of the game, it's easily GOTY for me. Nothing has even come close so far. It makes something like Arkham Asylum seem pedestrian in comparison.

Ugh - I'm going to have to buy them both...

Yeah, the original's pretty fun too, but you'll hate the amount of screen tear in some sections. :(

As an aside, I just saw Uzi log on and start playing. So so jealous! Fingers crossed for mine being delivered tomorrow from game!
