So Tapepack Sickness is back in a new guise!

http://jungle-massive.com/

Click tapepack sickness on site and you have terabyte after terabyte of tape packs (AWOL, Skelter, Hysteria, Desire etc) all rarred and ready to go, or click on single sets for massive packs of mixes by DJ.

I may need to buy a couple external drives to fill before it all disappears yet again.

Like that Baraka track. Lighter than your usual selections and a new one to my ears.

Yeah its recently new to me too, heard it via these mixes a few months back. Been a roller ever since:

And the sets, some phenomenal selection in the Doc Scott/Ant TC1 mixes:

Got some decks and did a mix. Some of the transitions I am proud of, some of them not :)

Either way this is a selection of some of my favourites from 92-95 hardcore, before it all went silly. From the days when you could walk from the sanctuary to the rollers and get the same croud happily moving between each, with either a slightly happier vibe, or something a bit darker whilst still melodic.....not the extremes (super happy, downright miserable) that followed from maybe around 98 onwards....

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it :) Good memories in there.....

Can only find this in 240, sadly, but its a proper banger

Just heard Hyper going off on it in a 97 Roast set with Andy C where he teases in Jump Around by House of Pain at one point. Madness mix, serious jungle.

I know not everyone is into MCs, but Hyper was just fire when he was on point.

They had such a killer house style, and it wasn't really copied all that much imo. No-one consistently nailed the groove and the menace of Basement. Incredible label, at least until they started cranking out the jazzy drum and bass.

Heads down, full on, no messing.
