How much of the stuff we buy do we really need? Not much is my guess. So don't sweat it. We're living the dream! (I've actually ordered 2 of the bastards. 2 player ****************el like trying new Street Fighter or just m*******************rts. Or just put it up on the shelf to look all pretty in it'***********).

How do you get a PS2 stick to work on a PS3? Do you need a USB adapter? I brought my old Hori Soul Calibur stick in to work for a mate but didn't realise there's no PS2 style controller ports on the PS3. How much for an adapter?

Beware. I have a PS2>USB adaptor and while it seems fine for most games on my PS3, I could not for the life of me perform any specials in MvC3 with it. Must be lag or something, not sure. Maybe research lag issues when looking at adaptors. There must be lag-free adaptors out there.

I'd just like to show some love for the Datel stick.

When I first got it I wasn't so sure, the buttons and stick certainly feel very different, respond differently and make a unique sound in a non-reassuring way.

It did take me a couple of days to get used to it but that was mostly the button layout. I still occasionally stand when I think I'm crouching but I don't really mind it, I think the fact I will have to focus on my execution more to avoid mistakes will make me a stronger player at the end of the day.

Downside is no microphone jack.

Best bang for buck stick thats existed, only beating the namco by the fact its dual mod.

The deal was exposed on Hotdeals so there's more chance we defintely won't be receiving these orders.

My dispatch is 8th September.

My order has been cancelled. I've not received an email, but it's showing as cancelled in my account history. Hardly surprising if the OMG ORDERED x1000000!!!1111!! idiots were onto it.

I doubt they'd have honoured the price anyway, but I can at least direct my slight disappointment towards those tools ;)

Yeah same here. It was never going to be honoured though.

I still have my full priced one coming and am still as excited about. I also mentioned the error to my partner last night so now have the perfect cover story when it arrives with which to cover my tracks.

Sneaky, I like it.

It sucks that they won't honour it, had my order cancelled without any notification as well.

Paypal is an instant payment. That paypal amount has left my bank account (via my tied debit card) and won't be returned until they manually refund it. Not that it makes any difference.

Edit- upon double checking, the above appears to be bollocks. Those swines.
