It's tempting to sell my 360 TE stick to invest in a PS4 one but at the same time what if I ever decide to put one of the 360 fighters on? And it's still doing its job as far as PC is concerned, and SF5 is coming PC.

Ideally a stick that can toggle between 360/Bone/PS3/PS4, then. Someone make that!

Make it toggle to Mega Drive, too.

Is there any way to get a 360 stick working on PS4? Otherwise I guess I will wait for the PC version of V.

There are adaptors like the CronusMax, but they need to be reset every 8 minutes. There's also the PCB I linked to above, which won't require any resets as SFV will include the LabZero driver which is used in Skullgirls and USFIV.

The Fightstick Alpha looks tiny. Not sure what parts have been used and I'm also wondering about the weight.

Joffocakes talked about the Chronus on the previous page and Nuskool mentioned in the SFV thread that there is also the Brook Convertor, but as with all of these devices your results may vary.

Hori do two sticks for the PS3/PS4 comparable sticks, though I'm not convinced by the buttons or stick they use.

Edit too slow

Right stick makers I can confirm that that £10 Zero Delay pcb I bought of eBay works perfectly on SFIV on PS3 as well as VF5.

Wiring was made super easy although the lack of real instructions made it tough to work out the BU = Button up = triangle. Once I decoded that little puzzle the rest was easy.

I think I paid 11 from the same seller but there may have been some exchange rate shenanigans. Took about 7 days to deliver and most importantly no customs charges.

It will also work with PS4 games that support the labzero driver. Once I get one I'll let you all know if it works.

Interesting test of labzero's driver on skull girls PS3 VS PS4, using a TE (PS3) both systems have the same delay.

There is also this is the thread on shoryuken :-

http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/148938/zd-arcade-control-encoder-and-zd-rematch-ps3-ps2-pc-the-most-cost-efficient-pcbs-to-date/p4

Although my board is slightly different it does the same thing and comes from the same manufacturer.

Not having to sacrifice a pad makes this a pretty cheap way to make your own stick.

I got one of the Mad Catz Chun Li TE2 sticks delivered today, what a disaster!

First off there's a crack in the white bezel on the front.

Second the plastic feels really crappy and the hinged front doesn't close flush. This means it makes an annoying creaking sound when you apply any sort of pressure.

Lastly the holographic artwork on the front looks terrible in person, it's really washed out looking. Really disappointed considering it cost £180!

Its going straight back to Amazon for a refund. Think I'll try a Hori RAP 4 instead.

I've never liked the colour scheme on the VSHG so set about changing it. The little buttons are not replaceable, certainly couldn't find any black replacements anywhere so found out about vinyl dye (from Shoryuken Forum) and sprayed them, has worked well. Enamel spray for the screw heads and all black buttons (pinched the idea from someone on SF).

Looks great i think. Has anyone confirmed yet if it works with SFV?

I've never had any of the issues you describe, but the artwork issue is a definite 'thing'. It's bizarrely poor quality.

My art for the venom stick came in today but I thought I'd practice first as I'm very cack handed. Here's a piss easy ghetto way to mod your stick : print a 7x5 Neo Geo mini marquee (costs 10p from photobox) you only have to cut out the stick hole and round off the edges :

Yeah I know SVC sucks but you get the idea, no text was cut off on this one.

I had a crack at the whole thing but even using the plexi as a template the button holes and the PS button holes seemed slightly too small. Cutting them with scissors is an absolute pain in the arse, using a stanley is out of the question, I'm so clumsy I'll end up cutting my fingers off or the plexi. Saw a post where someone just went over and over the holes with a biro then popped them out, but the photo paper I've ordered the art on is thicker than usual printer paper.

So yeah any pointers? :)

And finished ! I couldn't find an A3 print for less than £6 so I cheaped out at A4 for 80pence but I don't mind the fact it's short at the sides. I'm really pleased how it turned out. I was going to use the RB2 art at the bottom but decided on something I knocked up myself to make it 'my own' haha.
