I'm doing a foundation course at the moment, and for my next project want to do an animation...

I have it in my head but am not sure how to get there: I basically want to show a line-drawn picture as I'm drawing it, so by the end you see the complete picture - probably no more than thirty seconds worth of 'live' (sort of) animation.

Is this something I can do with the software than comes with a standard tablet (I'm on cusp of ordering a Wacom Bamboo), or would I need something like Flash?

As you can tell, I'm a little green noob about this stuff, so any help would be much appreciated.

Fanks.

Can I do this? Would it capture the drawing say every .25 seconds? Any in mind?

No, its pretty much a live thing, so there wont be any lag between your strokes and the capturing of them.

As to Corel Painter, you can go to their website to download a trial version of their latest Painter 11.
