Melody Hossaini, 26, speaks five languages and claims she has worked with Al Gore and Dalai Lama.

Introducing herself to the audience in the first show, she says: "Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon."

Oh God

Where do they come up with this shit?

The only people who need firing are the schedulers. Tuesday and Wednesday the first week, then Wednesdays... of course, I'm betting that not every episode will be on at the same time, then there will be the extra programmes on the final 3... shocking way to run a business.

There's no difference from last year, apart from the first one on the same week as the second show. It's always been on Wednesdays 9pm and it's the same this year apart from the first show (which is on the day before, on Tues).

But WHY PUT THE FIRST EPISODE ON A DIFFERENT DAY? It makes no sense.

Of course it makes sense. They probably only have a finite amount of weeks to fit it in and when they got round to doing it, they found that they have one less week than the amount of episodes they need, hence one week having two episodes. That's the nature of scheduling (fitting in competing programmes in such a way that everyone is satisfied) and it hasn't worked out perfectly for The Apprentice this year.

Yes, I can work that out for myself. But the most common complaint that sees a program cancelled is that viewing figures are falling - and why might that be? Could it be because you move it around the schedule, changing day and start time to confuse people? I know it's less of a problem now that we have the iPlayer and hard disk recorders, but consistency in scheduling makes more sense. And if you are following a series, it can be tricky to catch up when there are extra episodes or changing times. Take Masterchef recently - that was on Wednesdays at 9pm, until the final week when they suddenly put three episodes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

It'll probably be a crap non-episode, right? Where they just introduce everyone and do nothing. Maybe.

If it's anything like last years it's be a straight in to the task number, with someone gone before they've even set foot in the house.

I can't see the Apprentice doing a meet the people type episode (outside the final) as they want to play up of the bollocks business speak they all prattle before you start to know them and think maybe a couple of them are sane.

But it's only one episode that is on a day that it isn't usually. I think you're overthinking it. They're not doing it out of spite, they're doing it because it's necessary. Besides, it'll be repeated several times during the week anyway! What more do you want?

This. Like all the other first programme in the previous series, they'll be in a task and one person will get fired at the end.

I did that thing where you do that thing just to see if I could help Edna improve her face, so now she has two options to go for.

It's a toss-up between Star Trek counselor or Cocknose Jagger.

How about these honeys
