Puzzle Agent 1 & 2, both HD and normal are all currently 69p

You beat me to it. :) Playing through Puzzle Agent 2 just now. Both are well worth a punt at that price.

Don't know if it's any good, but Monkey Island Tales 1 HD is free today. Was £4.99!

The Bard's Tale is £1.50 at the moment. seems a fun enough romp, despite the upscaling they're using for the poor old ipad 1. Also comes with the first two original games for free, with the third one on the way, so that's a hell of a lot of game for your money.

Tiny Bang story is 69p at the moment as well, which is also quite good.

With regard to people moaning about pricing, this lovely 1 star review was recently posted for Magnetic Billiards:

Excellent, but once addicted, costs a fortune!

I love this game and have Grade S on every classic level. Then you find out that every level after this costs almost £2. NO THANKS! You ripped me off for the game in the first place!!!! For 20 measly levels! Get a grip.

I don't really like being accused of ripping anyone off. The game is free to download and includes 29 levels and an endless mode.

Jeff Minter has released his latest, Five A Day... Time Pilot meets space vegetables, with trippy sound and awesome clouds...

reminds me of the bonus levels in Space giraffe... chilled and trippy but this time with shooting

Initial impressions are as good as ever... llamasoft's track record is superb 7 releases, 7 great games.

I saw someone gave New Star Soccer 5 a negative review because you have to pay to play career mode. That's right, you get a free 'demo' but have to buy the game before you play it. DISGRACEFUL. Then you have the one-star reviews for games because they aren't exactly the same as some other game. Meanwhile, Angry Birds #34857367 gets 5 star reviews from people who have simply bought the game but not played it, and three star reviews from someone complaining that the game crashes on the first level.

Many itunes reviewers are just like metacritic reviewers, cranks and idiots, and it is a pity that they have quite a bit of influence over the success or failure of a game.

It must be really frustrating for developers.

BTW, Whatever it was that I paid for the skeleton key in MagBill was some of the best money I've spent on the app store. I find most of the games rather bitty, insubstantial and unsatisfying on there, meaning 69p ends up wasted on something I play twice. That doesn't apply at all to Magnetic Billiards, it's the sort of thing I'd have bought at £30 on the DS.

Jesus I can't imagine playing anything worse on an Iphone than Elite....

(to be 100% perfectly clear. Elite is probably my all time number #1 game)

That interface looks pretty ugly but I think a straight Elite port could work perfectly on iOS, especially on iPad.

The controls are MUCH simpler than most 3D games since you can only roll and pitch. Could be done really nicely I think.

Have we had Lost Winds for 69p yet? If not, we have Lost Winds for 69p. Universal app too

Is this when they work on all iOS devices including old ones or that you can play it on both your iPhone and iPad?

Is there an easy way to find out what apps work on all devices? Or which are better on iPad?

Burnout crash is up for £2.99

Its a very odd game that bears no real control resemblence to old crash mode, the aim is the same but seems to have you frantically swiping at the screen to bounce your car around a crash junction causing carnage.

Probably preferable on ios to waving your arms round like a loon on kinect

Its not bad but i'd probably advise people to wait for the inevitable 69p sale in a fortnight.

It's not the Hudson one, surely there's already loads of Slitherlink apps anyway, there's certainly no lack of other logic puzzles. Downloading!

Burnout Crash is out on iOS too, where it should have been in the first place. It's £2.99 and probably still shit, but if you can wait until April 17th it's World Haemophilia Day and there's bound to be a 69p sale on EA stuff to mark the occasion.

Has anyone got any racer recommendations?

I quite like the demo of Fastlane, might get that - quite Ridge Racery. Just tried Aqua Moto and it seems very boring, although the lite version is most likely really easy and slow.

Fastlane is good! What's that one on the original iPhone advert years back?

Anyone picked up Burnout Crash? I liked it on the PS3 but it always seemed better suited to mobile - can see it being fine on the iPad but just wondered if it is a little fiddly on the iPhone screen.
