Think mine glitched. He was down to 2/3rds health then appeared where 2 level 4 thwaarp towers field of fire intersected. The ground was double on fire if that makes sense. The screen went white and then the victory message appeared

Clocked Kingdom Rush Frontiers last night on Normal. Thankfully I beat the final boss first time - there's a bit of luck to be had there. Then did it again first time on Veteran.

I'm going through the whole lot on Veteran now, but I decided to restart with a new save slot so it's tougher, what with having to rebuild your Heroes and get back all your upgrades.

Also, I fucking loathe how they set up the in game IAP. It feels incredibly cheap of them to not have a reasonably priced bundle deal for the rest of the Heroes, and currently having to pay several times over the price of the game to get them all.

Obviously, I am incredibly cheap, so have bought none of them.

I haven't bought any either, I'm also cheap. Didn't on the last one either.

I'd presume a fivers worth of dragon would be game breakingly powerful ?

I've never used an IAP for Kingdom Rush or this either.

The main issue for me is the lack of a FFWD button which is absolutely essential in this type of game IMO. Otherwise it's great fun.

I must be rubbish, I never feel like I have spare time that I would want to use a FFWD, I guess you can bring the waves faster though by tapping on the icon.

A shame the other heroes can only be bought, I assumed you would be able to unlock them in game.

Yes, that and the Warcraft game both make it super hot - do not balance on a bare tummy!

Hmmmm, it hasn't even got warm at all now after playing for about an hour. Must have just been a bit glitchy earlier?

It’s unethical and wrong, and I sort of hate myself for it – every time I play it, I feel like I’ve been for a KFC with Rod Liddle – but I am really enjoying Real Racing 3. Haven’t paid a penny for anything either, as if that is something to be proud of.

Is anyone else still playing it? I quite like the time shifted multiplayer, add me on Game Centre for sexy Real Racing fun (Camberwell K).

I watched my ios notifications fill up yesterday with you beating me/my ghost at everything. I still play it every once in a while.

It's so easy to never pay for that game I just do not understand how anyone bothers paying any money - just grab 3 cars in different leagues as quickly as possibly up front (you can get the 2nd one before your 1st needs to go into the shop unless something went very wrong) and you'll never need to wait to race or pay to speed stuff up.

Yeah. I think the original version was a lot grindier in that you got less money, and you had to wait a lot longer for servicing and repairs, but the current version is fine – I dunno if I’m going to play long enough to buy the Veyron or anything, but I’ve already played it for two or three hours and got at least three enjoyments out of it for £0. Which, if my maths are correct, equals infinite enjoyment, i.e. it’s the best game ever.

It reminds me a bit of ME3 multiplayer in that you can pay for stuff if you’re rich or mad, but the core game works pretty well without it.

I've gotten over 10 hours easy on it, probably more than the first games. The new modes like the Drag race, Speed Record, Autocross are very cool and help to break up the regular racing. You do reach a point in events where you need a faster car if you want to 100% the event, otherwise you get smashed up pretty easily. The much touted TSM isn't much cop IMO and there seems to be way too few tracks. I would have also liked to see gear shifting in as well.

However I feel like i've gotten my fill of it. I wouldn't put down any money unless it was for a full unlock.
