**Shameless Self Promotion Alert**

Hi Guys, our new game "Wiggle Web" is finally out. There is a lite version available for anyone who fancies a dip and no IAP or anything in the full version.

I think I've seen others promoting stuff so hope I'm not breaking any rules here, but nuke this bitch is that's the case!

Seems like a straight port so far. Only played a little mind...works really well on the iPad.

There was a mini update of sorts on my 360 version which added some modifiers on the game start screen, rather than new content per-se. Know if that's there?

Loving Xcom, but I hate the way realism has taken a backseat in favour of flying saucers and aliens.

Their original idea of setting this in a fictional middle-eastern country like Saudistan and fighting Arab terrorists would have been much better, and less of a drain on the gpu, as there'd be less lasers etc.

Hey guys! We have a new game out today on iOS and Android. It's called Fatty, and it's as stupid as the name implies.

Here's some videos:

We're currently gathering feedback so we can decide where to go next with the game. I think update 1 will be a more useful and intuitive tutorial system!

Any feedback would be much appreciated. :D

Wow, tons of stuff out on iOS today then! Nobody wanted to launch things during E3 I guess ;)

We've put out World's Biggest Wordsearch today on iOS/Android/KindleFire.

It's pretty much as the title says really, so obviously super casual - if that's your thing check it out. (Download links on the YouTube page)

The first Rovio Stars/Nitrome game, IceBreaker, is out today as well: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/icebreaker-a-viking-voyage/id656163700?mt=8

Oh, and Ending came out earlier in the week: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ending/id647697139?mt=8 -- not sure if it's been mentioned in the thread yet, it's a really clever roguelike/puzzle game.

tempted with Xcom, do we think they are likely to reduce the price much? I am guessing I could get it on 360 for about the price they are charging for the ios?

anyway, reading the BBC article about it they mentioned it wasnt the most expensive game on the app store, that honor belongs to the football simulation called Barcelona v Real Madrid! the price? £250. No reviews on the app store so I decided against a purchase.

There are loads of bizarro price apps like that when you look. Am I being crazy or would making an app like that be a very good way of money laundering? So make a terrible app, with a massive price or huge IAP and then get accomplices to use stolen credit cards or whatever to buy it. /tinfoilhat

Prepaid credit cards would be easier. But then you have to go through loads of accounts and laundering would immediately have a 30% tax on it and way too many people involved. There are better options. Any cash heavy business, like a bar. Or lazer tag. Or car wash. You, too, could be Walter White.

K and Poet have totally suckered me into Real Racing 3. We'll see how it goes longer term but I'm really enjoying it, especially now I've finally started letting go of the driving aids.

The servicing and whatnot seems fine and I'm not spending any cash. Seems that damning review was somewhat over the top. It got a lot of attention and formed my opinion so I guess the journalist is happy.

Don't know if its been mentioned already, but one of my favourite IOS games ever Where's My Water? now has a Mickey Mouse themed spin-off called Where's My Mickey?

It's more of the classic WMW gameplay with some new twists like Clouds that absorb/release water, but i'm liking it a lot more than that other WMW water spin-off with that Platypus in the hat. I played the Demo of that but was unimpressed for some reason. Perhaps I just like the character designs or gameplay elements of this one more.

Better rewards for finishing a level, too - each completion animation is unique and many are amusing. It's at least as good as the original, though obviously it's more familiar.

God I love Kingdom Rush. It's one of those games I would gladly pay £40 for if it just went on forever.

I've hit a huge spike on the Crimson Valley level though. Nearly did it just now by maxing out my barracks, but then lost loads of hearts on those wasps that are normally easy to kill - if you built any Mage or Archer towers

That little Star Wars reference made me think - a Star Wars licensed version of this would be excellent. Ewok tree towers, Jedi heroes, the various Imperial Troop types, AT-AT bosses, and so on.

If it isn't in the works it should be.

To be fair, I think EA tweaked the game a bit after the initial release. It was a LOT grindier previously, as you had to wait to repair your car, in the same way that you have to wait to service your car, so the reviews were probably justified. EA seem to have almost gone the other way now, as it's basically like playing a normal game - there's not much incentive to spend real money, as it gives you so much free stuff and the shop is ridiculously expensive.

You probably need to pay for currency to buy the real high-end stuff, but I'll probably be bored well before then.

Agreed.

Blasphemous I know but I could also kind of imagine a Metal Slug skinned version...

Frontiers is brilliant, although I find the controls a bit fiddly. The troops are little bit too small on my iphone5 for comfort. Its a nice consolation for not having a 3DS and Fire Emblem at the moment.

Scurvy Scallywags is also very good , and together with Deep Dungeons of Doom Ive been quite busy with iOS games lately.

I bought the Core dungeons for DDD, fuck me its good. Completely addicted to it  The free part of the game ends after unlocking the 3 talent shrines, at which point you need to buy the main game to progress. Currently busy farming dungeons to stock up on items for the stash box and gold to unlock the talent trees, and enjoying the artwork and retro style a lot!
