I think it does, and it increases with level as well.

Ive had something like 50:14 at level 20 and only got 1k bonus, and then 30:22 at level 40 with 2k bonus.

I'm not sure but the exp you need to level up seems to increase with every prestige as well.

You think?

I feel like I've shot up to my current level (47 on 1st Prestige) a lot faster than I did last time, but that could be down to me knowing the game more now.

I love this game. I use the same gun for ages, then change and find I love that even more. UMP with cold blooded and ninja is the bomb. Also been using claymores a lot more, I love it when you forgot you even left one, the game ends, and kill cam shows some poor sod being blown up.

My only problem is I barely ever get to the 11 kill kill streaks, I got a lot more with less perks and when I was a lower level. I basically play on Team deathmatch most of the time. Fuck all these cheaters too, played with so many full prestigers last night on ps3, and they were a pile of shit. Should get banned.

What builds are people using on deathmatch? I see so many people using a SCAR but I have not even touched it, I mainly use m16 or UMPALUMPA

I switch between two for TDM:

FAMAS + ACOG. Scavenger pro, Stopping Power pro & Ninja pro. Silenced sidearm. Claymores. < For maps or times where I like to sit back.

ACR + Grenade Launcher/Silencer (depending on mood), Scavenger pro, Cold Blooded pro & Ninja pro. Stinger. Claymores. < For maps where I like a bit more mobility. Also an anti air class.

I've got the most AC-130 streaks whilst using the Danger Close loadout (with Scavenger, claymores, M203 launcher and AT4 launcher). You can play really cowardly, just laying claymores all over the place and firing speculative grenades. You never actually have to put yourself in the line of fire, meaning it's great for streaks.

Yup, Danger Close Pro is an evil perk with choppers. I called in a Pavelow on Quarry last night - not exactly camping but certainly holding an area down with claymores and the like. Your man from the youtube vids wasn't kidding, the Pavelow with DCP must have racked up around fifteen kills, and I wouldn't have said Quarry was an ideal map for choppers either.

Amazing scenes on Friday night when the playlist went mental while playing Groundwar - it dumped the whole 12v12 lobby into 3rd person TDM on Rust. There were literally three people spawning at each point, I was wandering around with a Mini Uzi just racking up kills. Getting killed just as much obviously too.

Informative.

That was nice. They showed you can shoot down a care package helicopter, however, the package seemed to still drop on both occasions.

i think i need more people to play this with, i find myself turning it on and playing one free for all then just getting so bored i look through some of the leaderboards and then turn it off.

You have a clan who love you and play every day, man. Don't you love us no more? :(

haven't seen you guys on and playing for the past 3-4 days! but i haven't been around too much in the evenings, during the day when i stick the game on it's just dead on my friends list.

what time tonight? i'll try to make sure i'm on (if i'm home! or if i'm not on forza)

Usually from 8ish. We've been having some really great sessions and we very rarely lose in TDM. I'm often on during the day too if you want at least one friendly in your team or fancy some spec-ops. :)

i'll send an invite if you're about today at some point, i should probably be on at about 2 and might have a mate that can jump in too, though he tends to leave and be the main one blamed for lag - his gamertag is vagz, who meerman accused of being american more than a few times i think when he was on the opposite team :lol:

he's not really, he just has virgin internet which seems to be quite pants at times.

Daytime play with the unemployed (not unemployable) is the way. Smooth as silk and chock-full of claymore fodder.

I like playing good players. So much more satisfying to outsmart and outplay someone who doesn't run around in circles waving their rifle about. Those akimbo rifle shotguns are pretty silly in a good player's hands though.

cod4 only really had people getting inside the scenery on creek and overgrown./ Other than that and acog snipers it was relatively glitch free. Seeing all sorts of nonsense in MW2, whcih I guess is a direct result of adding so many more leements to the game. lets just hope those patches keep coming thick and fast.

I had some great games last night and finally got ‘Tango Down’ after wiping out the other team from a helicopter.

On another game 3 or 4 guys on my team started UAVs running at the same time, it was like the radar was updating in real time and was a real help in getting kills. Normally I’ll wait until a UAV is finished before I start mine but I think I’ll start it when a teammate does.

Yeah, the ‘sweep’ frequency is faster.

That's brilliant. Watching that Mythbuster video, with the guys dropping harmlessly onto the mattresses on Afghan, and the knife-bounce kills, makes you realise how detailed it is.
