I like how Valve talked up the game and the director feature as being clever enough to adapt to any level they choose to put into the game and then barely a year later bring out a completely new game for a full £40 after making the 360 crew wait months for half the content on the game disc.

A bit, I've only ever played TF2 for like one glorious free weekend, but I'm always seeing 'MORE FREE SHIT FOR TF2!!! ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!' advertised when I start steam. The survival pack for L4D was great, but...that's it? I wanted at least another campaign out of those capitalist bastards.

I hope the combat has some weight to it this time. As lovely as L4D and Half Life 2 are, the weapons have never been satisfying. I think it's the lack of inertia and the fact your aim just feels like a mouse pointer.

The weapons are fine in Left 4 Dead. Don't slag them off. Or I will personally come around your house and make you listen to the entire of Frances The Mute. Even the ambient noises between the songs that no-one except REAL fans listen to. Thanks.

No-one WANTED to predict this. We only want added content to the first one :o

Any content would be nice, it seems like months after release they finally got around to 'finishing' the game and then included the 2 levels we were missing and a mode where it just throws endless zombies at you. But now it's a case of "Get your wallets out boys, we need to buy Christmas presents!".

I can't in all honesty call Left 4 Dead a rip-off when I've probably got about 300 hours of multiplayer out of it.

I put at least a hundred into the CoD4 beta. This makes the first game look like a beta.
