My download is going at a crawl, anyone elses?

Assuming you mean via Steam, mine is. I noticed it was downloading both the DLC and the updated L4D2 add on authoring tools for me. The tools can wait for now, sped my download up a fair bit. :lol:

Never realised tools were downloading as well, mine stopped at 20% lol... It's fast now though.

Thought it was pretty good, maybe it's because I've not touched LFD2 for a while but it felt like I enjoyed it more than the actual game. For some reason though

I thought you got to play as the original folk as well

so that was a tiny bit disappointing, but there were some definite highlights like

the rush to the safehouse through the sewage- a horde of zombies rushing towards me through the tunnel, lit only by the sparks of gunfire

. Trying to fight a tank armed with only a golf club was a low-point though.

I remember hearing that, made me laugh!

Solid chapter I thought, didn't seem that hard but that might be because I played it on normal and I'm used to playing it on advanced.

I think the Scavenger is the best, definitely.

Played through the campaign on Normal last night, bloody loved it :P Cheers to giantfryingpan for accompanying me and hanging around when I frequently got lost (especially when I couldn't find my way out of a hole in the ground :lol: )

This feels like a real quality piece of DLC to me. All new assets, not just a re-hash of the existing levels (either in terms of content or how it plays). It's grrrrreat. And only 560 moon points! MW2, take note!

Srsly, still no sign of it. I'm on PC, it's meant to be free; do you have to do anything to get it? I've restarted the Steam client.

I didn't get it until I tried to launch the game, at which point it realised there was an update and proceeded to download it slowly for ages.

This is a pretty decent little map. I got the shit scared out of me when the bus went zooming by, so loudly.

I keep missing those things, I'll always be checking corners for that mother fucking stray zombie that someone misses. Unfortunately it means not catching any of the scenery.

The only reason I have the Real Deal achievement is because I inadvertently betrayed my team mates. It was on the Dead Center finale, we'd filled up the car (after about seven goes) when a tank took out the other three guys with a well placed rock throw. As I ran back to revive them, it trigged the 'escape' area in front of the car and the level ended. Cue them instantly rage quitting. I done left those suckers for dead.
